Phillips isn’t the alternative to Rodri now so doesn’t matter whether he stays or goes, maybe the alternative we’d like isn’t available now so why would we buy somebody for the sake of it.

Always overrated for me and now a player whose confidence must have taken a huge dent, we must take a permanent transfer in this window, a loan would be foolish.

there is a chance, that he regains confidence and has a stellar second half of the season and we can get more for him, although sadly i don't see that happening
