January window

Philips goes and we ain't buying this January hope we give that kid Mahamadou Susohu who is two footed a few game time minutes

Exactly? Also makes no sense to bring in a stop gap really? Confusing more if Phillips goes out just for the squad size as well? KDB might take time to get up to speed and Rodri was flogged last season and admitted himself he couldn’t do that again? Going for the historic 4 in a row and already behind at this stage would suggest the squad needs a boost?
Agreed 100%.

No "Senior Signings" makes zero sense considering we've essentially already been a CDM down for a season & a half & are reportedly parting ways with Philips in January. ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯

got a release clause, everyone does in Spain just if he wants to move or we want him. Same with Nico Williams and Zubimendi etc

Did Williams not just sign a new contract though so I would imagine a big jump in the release clause?

Why would we loan Kalvin rather than sell him? Pep clearly doesn’t intend to play him in the future and a loan just causes Kalvin’s value to diminish. Makes no sense to me He is a player who's career could completely bomb.

Always overrated for me and now a player whose confidence must have taken a huge dent, we must take a permanent transfer in this window, a loan would be foolish.

there is a chance, that he regains confidence and has a stellar second half of the season and we can get more for him, although sadly i don't see that happening

I wouldn't be surprised if we went for Ian Maatsan from Chelsea in January.
He'd be cheap as he is out of contract in summer.
