Not sure who wrote that ,but I'd certainly like a pint of what he's had.
There was another comment underneath from Fred I think some of the smart arse rags in media city have watched too much Rainbow. Not subtle really.

You need to sit down in a darkened room with a bottle of whisky. And yet it does.
Maybe we should all go back 4 Billion Years, although I'm sure those first cells aren't without blame.
You'll have had your tea.A bit like Aberdeen then?
I wondered why sir purple nose emigrated to the swampStrangely enough, most Aberdonians will tell you the city is in worse nick now than it was prior to the arrival of oil.
City are not funded by the UAE. Our income comes from sponsorship, broadcast, social media, merchandising, prize money, gate receipts, and lots of other investments, just like other football clubs. Even Sheikh Mansoour himself has an incredibly diverse portfolion and makes most of his profits from banking, property, tech, and ironically renewable energy. Silverlake make most of their revenues from entertainment and leisure.Google is your friend...
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the fourth largest economy in the Middle East (after Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Israel), with gross domestic product (GDP) reaching US$498 billion (1.83 trillion dirhams) in 2023 . The UAE economy relies heavily on income from oil and natural gas, especially in Abu Dhabi.
For once I agree with Barton. Liew had a hissy fit.Has anyone seen the latest joey Barton Post on twitter!!??
Not really befriending our whatsapp group mate Jonathan lliew!!! Fuck me!! :-) pissing myself. I'm shit at attaching files mind sorry
I know it's not City related but this interaction between the Spurs manager and a journalist sums up the level of knowledge and intellect we have in the press right now. If its not the English Premier League then it doesn't count basically. And having asked the question once he doubles down and keeps asking as though the reply is a joke.
I didn't know we owned Asahi?Don't know where to post this, new thread ? but it seems the clothing company Superdry are suing us for using Asahi Super Dry. They are demanding damages, all training kits destroyed blah blah blah.
They lodged court papers on December 15th. I assume City think the fact thst it is two words and dry is in inverted commas makes a huge difference.
The Government (and the Opposition) are going after Masters. It was clear from the last Select Committee (when he was publically humiliated) they don't trust him an inch.MPs order Premier League chief to explain delay over EFL cash deal
Select committee will ask Richard Masters about lack of progress in concluding settlement on extra £915m over six years to be paid to 72 Football League clubs

Masters, the Premier League chief executive, will be summoned to appear before MPs

The Premier League is not fit for purpose.
Understandable when he’s beholden to the cartel clubs. The Government (and the Opposition) are going after Masters. It was clear from the last Select Committee (when he was publically humiliated) they don't trust him an inch.

I doubt City will be involved, it'll be between the brands.Don't know where to post this, new thread ? but it seems the clothing company Superdry are suing us for using Asahi Super Dry. They are demanding damages, all training kits destroyed blah blah blah.

I am certain that is true. Apparently MPs have got his card marked and are fully aware of his close relationship with some club Directors. Concerns about Masters are one of the factors driving the push for independent regulation. Football is one of the UK's biggest and most successful industries and the success of the PL helps to generate trade across the globe.Understandable when he’s beholden to the cartel clubs.
They know exactly what’s going on.
I doubt City will be involved, it'll be between the brands.

So good luck with that.
The story is online, the Telegraph. It states it is us being sued. Presumably on how we have worded it. I haven't a clue about intellectual property rights.I doubt City will be involved, it'll be between the brands.

Nor I. Does seem strange to sue the club who are just displaying another brand's logo. The story is online, the Telegraph. It states it is us being sued. Presumably on how we have worded it. I haven't a clue about intellectual property rights.
