PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

When City get cleared, Masters will be sacked by the red cartel. Assuming Masters is still there at that point in the future.
Forest won the EC when it was more difficult to win (one bad game and your out) with an elite manager, Everton have a great history. For Masters to call them "small " clubs is unforgivable and clearly illustrates his lack of professionalism

Stefan said in not so many words what I've been saying all along. The Premier league are accusing high profile people and businesses of committing fraud. To me the Premier League have gone into this completely blind and threw a load of haymakers in our direction. I'm sure someone has said to this ponce masters "just Google Sheikh Mansour and tell me what it says". Huge huge accusations from him.
yes, and because the gravity of the accusations are so large, you would think the burden of proof would be huge. ie they have to categorically have insurmountable evidence that we did this. I don't think it exists

I actually am so happy to see all the grumbling and writhing of the sell-out journalists, failed businessman, bitter ex players and feral fans of feral clubs. My advice, they should hold their crying and moaning for a few more months. Because, what their teams will experience on the pitch will be brutal. They were shown the trailer of the upcoming month's movie in the last match. This is just the start and it will be way more painful for all of those crying and moaning right now. So, I will suggest all these people to "SAVE YOUR TEARS FOR ANOTHER DAY".

Pep and the boys are getting all the motivation they need loudly and clearly. Warning shots have already been fired and now is the time of all out conquest!!

Rephrasing Flopp - THE CITIZENS ARE WARMING UP AND WHOLE EUROPE IS SHAKING!

Could this be a bad thing? I mean it's the first time we've really put our side of things in this manner. It's certainly got backs up. It could galvanise our enemies, those with the power . Maybe our club are treading that fine line by staying quiet.

One thing that now makes sense to me is the market value of the sponsor deals and why some paid large amounts up front. The £400 mil over 10 years for the front of the shirt at £20 mil per season plus the stadium but pay £200 Mil (for arguments sake) in year one - makes perfect sense when that initial front loaded payment allows investment on the pitch pushing City into the spotlight, into silverware, more TV picks and UEFA / CL games and more exposure for the brand.

2014 -2020 Etihad paying £20 mil a season for front of shirt rights when across the road Chevrolet forked out £64 mill a year for 6 years from 2014, look at the teams success, exposure etc and who got market value from these deals?

Must have been one hell of a sales pitch to get them on board as a sponsor for us on these terms. Sure it may not have worked out (thank you Yaya for those 2011 FA Cup semi and final goals and of course Sergio's last minute legendary strike) but it did and that £40 mill a season average for front and centre of the shirt of the side that won 11 of the 33 domestic trophies available that decade (happy to be fact checked /corrected) plus the CL exposure etc means they got a absolute bargain IMHO. Market value? I reckon we should be asking them to make up the difference :-)
I believe this front loading of sponsorship contracts is usual practice, and that back in the early years of the century Arsenal got the lion's share of their deal with Emirates was paid at the start to cover the costs of building their stadium.

Well done Stefan, fighting the good fight.

Jordan really is a colossal prick, isn’t he? Almost as desperate for a guilty verdict as Carragher.
He absolutely hates us, but what makes it worse is that he thinks that because he once owned a football club he knows everything... but listening to his opinon on football finance is like taking babysitting advice off the McCanns

Shows that Masters needs an istory lesson. The ignorant putz.

Thanks all for the comments. I feel it is not credible (especially as I have said it before), to dance around what happens if everything is proven. It is the key part of why I don't believe they will ultimately prove the allegations. And nobody can be in doubt as to the seriousness now post Everton if we are found to have breached these rules on a wholesale basis for a decade. I know it is not a good soundbite and yes this is a little naive but it is difficult to tread that line.
Not naive at all. Absolutely fantastic, informed and honest opinion and articulated wonderfully.
You Sir are an absolute credit to your vocation and more importantly to our club. Thank you for your tremendous efforts in providing a detailed summary on a wireless station that doesn’t give two hoots about the truth.
Well done.

Why any City fan listens to talkSPORT at all is beyond me. I literally turned it off about 10 years ago, and I have never listened to a single word since. One the best decisions I have ever made.
I think we were actually listening to Stefan, and a very rewarding experience it was - one of the best decisions we've ever made! I think it may have given Masters and co pause to reflect on the size of the task they hve saddled themselves with. Even TS has its uses!

Well done Stefan and thank you for your continued interaction on the subject on here, social media and other platforms. It's very much appreciated.

Great job Blue.
Always good having someone on our side who actually tells the truth.
