He’s playing badly, and looks disinterested, but he’s not a bad player. Multiple seasons with over 15 league goals from the wing, lots of stand out performances and goals, chips in with plenty of assists.

His form being so up and down is obviously because the club is always yo-yo-ing. The last 5 years they’ve gone 2nd, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, 6th lurching from “it’s our year” to “sack everyone now!”

Rashford is IMO the clearest incident of a very good player who just needs to leave United since Daley Blind and Zaha.

He’ll probably leave in 2/3 years and have a big late career renaissance while United fans scratch their heads.
He has scored over 15 league goals twice in 8 years as a regular. He has scored 10 and 11 in two other seasons. The other 4 seasons have been single figure returns. His goal to game ratio is over 3 and that's not anywhere near enough for a good premier league striker.

If he's now being classed as a winger, 39 assists from 259 games is pretty poor too.

he’ll be in America by 30

There’s definitely a very good player in him, but like most at the swamp, he’s not been coached since Van Gaal was there and so has stagnated as this inconsistent player that runs fast and kicks the ball as hard as he can at every opportunity.

Pep would have made him far better, as long as he was willing to track back, which he only does sporadically now.

201 goals and assists in 399 games is a fine return, he's well on track to finish top 10 in Premier League history for goals and assists.

He's a good player in the wrong team.
"Multiple seasons with over 15 league goals...." was what I had an issue with. His league stats are poor. Fluffed out with European group games and domestic cup ties, they look better. He's a very average footballer by premier league standards in my opinion and the league stats certainly back that up.

Varane leaving on a free, Casimero they are looking to offload after us all being told he was better than Rodri last season. Sancho playing at Dortmund whilst the rags top up his wages, Martial now banished from the first team squad. Maguire now back at first choice when they wanted him gone in August.

Would anyone give them half the money back they payed for Antony? Then you have fake Haaland with his two premier league goals this season. Also the forgotten man Mason Mount that can’t be trusted to start a game. That’s 8 players listed that have bombed, it’s nearly half a squad. They really can’t get any type of cohesive player recruitment going can they?

I have a choice of browsing porn or reading posts like this. It’s a very close call as to which gives me the most pleasure [emoji15][emoji23]

Ah, always annoying when you have issues with....a fact.
Oh come on, you seriously going to argue that point? “Multiple seasons with over 15 league goals” would make the vast majority of people expect more than 2 seasons out of 8.

For what it’s worth, I’m between your two positions - I think there’s a decent player in there somewhere but he’s not helped by a) the lamentable coaching at the rags, b) his ego, and c) his workrate (b and c almost certainly linked)

It's visible in plain sight, more & more kids from that world famous academy on the bench and starting with dare I say none of them anywhere nearby Lewis/Bobb level.

They’re clearly planning for another class of ‘92, although I’m not sure their fan base will be happy waiting 68 YEARS ! [emoji23]

Leave Jordan Pickford out of it!
