I live 15 minutes away and you get one per householdYou can. Until her passing, my mother in law lived near Mary D's. She had two permits, and I used one every time I went to a game then.

Can you buy another one? There must be loads of households with more than one car.I live 15 minutes away and you get one per household
Probably have to prove you actually do have two cars. Can you buy another one? There must be loads of households with more than one car.
Even if you did, you could move them and charge 2 cars on match-days, unless it’s designated reg nos.Probably have to prove you actually do have two cars.
I can assure Mr Pete lives a long way from town, BFC to be precise.Listen Mr Kippax Pete. We don't all fucking live in town.
They certainly are round Briscoe LaneA bit late to this, are the new restrictions now in force? I usually park near Aldi going towards Ashton but that will be swallowed by the new restrictions
Where I park on Grimshaw Lane at Briscoe Lane end now has double yellow lines on both sidesI'll be over from the coast for an 11.00 appointment in Ashton on Wednesday so will be testing out the tram from there.
Looking like parking is getting tighter and my spot on Grimshaw Ln is now/about to be fucked.
Makes you wonder where all the Stewards are going to park....big queues getting in as nobody to wave wands about?
Move them where ?Even if you did, you could move them and charge 2 cars on match-days, unless it’s designated reg nos.
I’ve heard of KFC.I can assure Mr Pete lives a long way from town, BFC to be precise.
Outside of the zone. Go out for the day etc. Then the permits can be sold to fans.Move them where ?
Fucking hell you would have to be desperate to do that...Outside of the zone. Go out for the day etc. Then the permits can be sold to fans.
Yeah, maybe, but £30 a matchday times 25 = £750 for moving your cars round the corner.Fucking hell you would have to be desperate to do that...
It's not round the corner though is it.Yeah, maybe, but £30 a matchday times 25 = £750 for moving your cars round the corner.
I don’t know how far it would have to be. I’m just suggesting it might happen. It's not round the corner though is it.
I'd guessed we'd be fucked on there from now on.Where I park on Grimshaw Lane at Briscoe Lane end now has double yellow lines on both sides
Well and trulyI'd guessed we'd be fucked on there from now on.
That’s all well and good on a Saturday afternoon, try it next Wednesday against Burnley when it’s pissing down and you miss one of only two buses back which may or may not get you into your connecting bus at 11pm, public transport is shit for night games.Sorry my friend but juvenile name-calling says more about you than the poster. I could drive to and from the game but choose instead to take the train into the city centre, have a couple of beers and walk to the stadium. For anyone who is reasonably fit and has a reliable public transport link into town, it's no hardship and helps to reduce congestion on the roads for those who have no choice but to drive. In the context of this debate, it's an entirely reasonable suggestion and certainly not one deserving of ridicule.
You can get two visitor permits free, only works on that reg, the reg can be changed but only one of the 2 permits can be activated.Probably have to prove you actually do have two cars.
Sadly, I've no argument with you on that point. There needs to be a complete overhaul of the public transport network so that people are able to make that choice. That's why I added the caveats about fitness and 'reliable' public transport links. Admittedly, I'm fortunate in that regard. However, I'm convinced that some are simply not prepared to give up their reliance on the car. That’s all well and good on a Saturday afternoon, try it next Wednesday against Burnley when it’s pissing down and you miss one of only two buses back which may or may not get you into your connecting bus at 11pm, public transport is shit for night games.
