England wasting one of the most talented squads ever assembled on Southgate

Absolutely

Both winging it and standing on the touchline looking like they're up to something.

Ten Bob contributes nothing, he's just lucky he's got enough half competent players compared to the dross around bottom half of the league, so they can snatch some results regardless of who manages and not be floating around the bottom half.

Southgate is much the same. This England squad could manage themselves and beat the teams they have beaten in tournaments. You quickly see his ability lacking when we're in a 50/50 game under important circumstances.

Same again this summer I imagine. We'll beat the teams we could beat with anyone on the touchline and come unstuck once we face a proper side with some tactical nouse.

Obviously he just sees his club career as a job. Probably not arsed about playing for England because they donate the appearance fee.

I don't mind that, at least he's honest about it. Not much wrong with players just doing it for the money as long as they put the effort in for the fans who pay the money and the club that pays them.

Rico was never actually selected in an England senior squad. He was in the u21's in November and moved up because of injuries.

Besides, first 4 months of the season he played 850 minutes. the last 4 months he's played 450.


There's just no way Rico can get near the England squad when he's averaging 1 match a month.
 
Southgate is a Fukin wanker article now on BBC him justifying Arsenals White pulling out of the squad for the upcoming friendlies oh what a surprise need to protect him for Arsenal, but states White is one of the players who really “care” so he has no issue with it and respects his decision. So Gareth some of your squad don’t really “care” then and will have to turn up. We’ll come on City let’s pull all our players out and tell the wanker they are really heartbroken about this but they can’t make it.

White cares so much that he got Arsenal’s director of football to tell Southgate he didn’t want selecting.

Eze has been injured most of the season and Mainoo has barely played senior football. I don’t think they should be near the squad.

Speak to any United fan or read any United media and they’ll tell you Maguire has been one of their best players this season. He’s completely returned to form and playing every week.

So what possible reason would Southgate have for not calling up one of Englands most reliable players of the last 8 years?

Especially with Branthwaite coming into the squad as a newbie competing for the same spot.

It’s just whining for the sake of whining. Theres nothing wrong with that squad, even if you’d have picked a very slightly different 23.

I agree with that. Maguire has actually played quite a bit this season as well.
