There will be 8 page pullouts in all the papers if he plays well on his debut5 Kobbie Mainoo articles one after another in the Daily Mail.
Did you know, his brother starred in Love Island?
Just wow! Football journalism at it's best.
He is the biggest PL hype train propped up by the press.

Who is blowing the smoke up bingos and scouse arse to even suggest he's anywhere near what constitutes a great manager. Liverpool have accumulated 7 points more than spurs in a 10 year period.
You’ve mentioned it twice now at least to balance it up…It's incredible that nobody in this debate mentions at all Liverpool's inconsistency. In his first three seasons they were 21, 17 and 25 points behind the champions. In the next two seasons they managed somehow to be only one point behind and then champions by 18 points. The next season they were 17 points behind the champions and then they were right back one point behind the following season. Last season they were 22 points behind and this year they are right back again.
If they were a greyhound, they would be investigated. But no, in football such inconsistency is lauded as the greatest ever. Bizarre.
So they've finally moved on from Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard I see
