If they were a greyhound, they would be investigated. But no, in football such inconsistency is lauded as the greatest ever. Bizarre.

You only need to look at liverpool last few performances. Against us in the second half, their energy levels were through the roof. Odd how against the rags the energy levels didnt reach these levels. Klopp moaning that the players were knackered. Plus he choose to go full strength midweek in a tie which was a dead rubber.
it was clear something wasn't right if you saw that increase in most other sports questions would be asked.

They were running round like loons in the second half against City and then capitulated over 120 minutes against a very poor United team. This was a United that wouldn’t come out of their own half against City two weeks before and folded when Foden got the equaliser. On the sport science side of things what fitness levels will the new manager coming in at Liverpool inherit, and will the methods used under Klopp be continued or shelved.

I bet Brailsford cant believe his luck after coming over from cycling to football. He wont need a courier on a motorbike to deliver his jiffy bags in secret. It can be delivered through the front door in football.
