The club themselves will have a long term plan for all positions probably starting with pre-teens. Whether Branthwaite is one of the possibilities is another matter. As a left footer and 6' 5"(?) he's certainly a possibility and we don't know what the individual players already here are thinking going forward.

It's whether we side step this player and wait for the 'next' one but he's someone we'll be hearing a lot about because he's very assured for someone so young.

I haven't seen a lot of him, but I find it hard to fully judge him considering Everton's style of play which is so different. He wasn't great against Isak midweek but at 21 he's clearly an excellent talent. He doesn't really fit into our squad though with Ake and Gvardiol already here and Dias better as a LCB.

Definitely, this kid and Wirtz should be first on the list closely followed by Musiala should Bernie leave. Agree nothing about him screams John stones at all, just a young lad who's a bit of unit , reminds me more of Ryan shallcross.Lol. He isn't anything like Stones.
