If you like historical dramas A Gentleman in Moscow (TV Mini Series 2024‑)……worth a watch
The last episode of Curb a great trip down memory lane.
Is he Frank Feys or Kevin Brand ?Well now, here's something a bit different.
For those whom it may concern, i.e. living in Spain, and having access to a tv, there is a series starting tomorrow evening called Operación Barrio Inglès. It's being aired on RTV1. And how do I know this? Because my older brother's in it! Don't want to exaggerate, he's got a smallish role (his words), and it's not until the sixth episode. He plays the smarmy, corrupt British ambassador, apparently. I'm sure he's very convincing ;-)
He told me, though, that objectively the series is well made, with proper financial resources put into it, and a few well-known actors and actresses (not him, obviously! Although he did have a bit of a name out in Oz in Melbourne and Sydney during the seventies, eighties and nineties when he was getting regular work in the theatre and on tv). So it's worth watching in its own right.
And obviously, for those whose Spanish is fairly serviceable. So there you go…
2 episodes is enough telly for me, then I have to move and do something else. So this is fine.Normally do a binge watch on series I enjoy……just have to wait

Started watching Dark- German tv series on Netflix. Interesting 1st episode. Not sure if it’s going to like fringe or something like stranger things. Reviews were pretty good.
One of the best shows I’ve watched. Not for some as it’s time travel but the first few series for me were so good.
Yeah i've seen plenty on here say Dark was terrible, but i really enjoyed it. So atmospheric with the music and scenery, good characters and a great storyline.i need to get back to this - i watched the first 3 or 4 episodes of series 1 then life got in the way then i never got back to it, even though i had enjoyed it. Seems like i need to revisit. (That being said, many thought Loudermilk was good, but i found it dragged!)
Completely confused even after watching every episode. Only stuck with it because I knew the locations. The Bakery was Fletchers Paper mill at Dovestone, Greenfield.Three episodes into Passenger and it’s pretty fucking dreadful. Not even sure what it’s supposed to be about.
I’ve 30 minutes of the last episode to watch and I’m still not sure what it’s about.Completely confused even after watching every episode. Only stuck with it because I knew the locations. The Bakery was Fletchers Paper mill at Dovestone, Greenfield.
All I could work out is that some strange curse affected the town… why or what for was never explained. Wait until you see the ending. You will be scratching your head wondering what the fuck was that.I’ve 30 minutes of the last episode to watch and I’m still not sure what it’s about.
The whole alien thing in the truck at the start never really explained or panned out. Fuck knows what was happening. All I could work out is that some strange curse affected the town… why or what for was never explained. Wait until you see the ending. Come back once you’ve watched the end and hopefully you can shed some light on it. Truly bizarreThe whole alien thing in the truck at the start never really explained or panned out. Fuck knows what was happening.
As a latecomer to the show (I only watched from the reboot onwards and never saw Seinfeld either) I will really miss it now. Fantastic finale I thought. One of the best comedy series ever, but it’s ended on a high.
Great last series.
