How many points will be needed to win the league?

Just noticed we have 4 away games out of the six left I feel Liverpool and Arsenal need to drop more points for us to win the league! I know we have the best away record but teams like spurs and Fulham away will not be easy..

I would be stunned if that was the case.

I was hoping we'd go to Fulham knowing a win would then mean we only had to win one more game (Spurs and West Ham to come), but I think that's unlikely. If we're still in the title race we can put some pressure on finally on that weekend as we play first, before Arsenal go to the rags and Liverpool to Villa.

Liverpool away at Villa and Arsenal away at Spurs are the games I see as their hardest games.
 
You can tell everyone is getting nervous, every team dippers and arsenal play are said to be absolutely shite while no matter who we have they suddenly become the most dangerous opposition we could get.
Brighton probably beginning to think about holidays and Forest maybe desperate but they are where they are because they aren't very good.
We spend our time saying we're the best team in the world it's about time to believe it, we don't need help from anyone else so enjoy the run in.
 
We have 3 separate blocks of matches now- Brighton then Forest 3 days later then a week to Wolves then a week before Fulham Spurs West Ham over 8 days. Looking at Arsenal’s form and run in we’ll probably need to win 5 if not 6 of them. Hopefully Spurs intense hatred of Arsenal will work in our favour.

Not sure about Liverpool, their results are much better than their performances. I think they’ll drop points but it may not be until they play Spurs or Villa.

or Brighton. All our remaining away games are tough, especially with an injury depleted squad. We are going to have to dig very deep.

I'm being heavily optimistic. It's just a feeling this will happen.

Then again we could end up 3rd with 2 cups this season.

Well I hope your feeling is right and we don't end up with the alternative!

The way the fixtures lie we'll be waiting for results after we play Fulham in my opinion. Arsenal go to the rags and Liverpool to Villa on the following couple of days and I'm hoping that it's those games that take the pressure off our trip to Spurs.

Funny isn't it. Sometimes they're the same team!

Yes, we did it last season. But the configurations were pretty different. We got through against both Bayern and Real without too much fuss. We've got walking wounded that we didn't have then. People like Rodri and Kev are a year older, and that's starting to show in recovery times between matches. We had a fairly benign semi-final against Sheffield United. And Arsenal folded. None of that holds good for this year.
I think we'll win the Cup and the league, and if we do personally I'll be completely over the moon.
