Alright he's struggling this season, but Kyle's given us his all during his time with us and deserves better.
Support the players out there ALWAYS.

In this team, playing at this level, they would have given him serious shit!
 
While Walker isn't at his best today, the so called fans however in last few pages in this thread is absolute embarassing.

Have some fucking respect will ya for the man that gave absolutely everything in the last five years for us.
 
His form has dipped this season. Hopefully he can put it right for the last 4 games.

The off field issues must be having an impact.

Nobody doubts what he has given this side. If this was the Kyle Walker - Last 5 years thread nobody would question him. However, this is the Kyle Walker - 2023/24 thread and at the moment he is a complete liability.

It’s a performance thread and the comments he’s receiving are based on today’s game, not what he has brought to the team over his contract.

He is rightly being criticised for today
 
Walker exposed himself today for who has been for much of this season.

I’ve said it before and it has been met with derision and cries of “Support him” and “Pep must like him, so…” with the implication that he is at the top of his game. He isn’t!

I think if we had a full slate of fit and healthy defenders, Akanji is first choice RB.

Kyle has speed that usually gets him out of trouble, but his defensive frailties are exposing us. There’s a reason Forest attacked down their left all night, and it wasn’t because he’s the best defender in the world.

There are fine line between rightful criticism and outright hatred based mostly on his off the field stuff.

Regardless i still respect and support the man even if he isn't at his best today. The guy like him will be very difficult to replace if he does go next summer.
 
Liability right now. Him being captain and one of just 6 defenders in the squad is what's getting him starts. It's so easy to turn inside him right now which is the biggest worry. Things like constantly making shit decisions and shit passes are things you can rectify easily if he just stops trying to do more than his limit, but there's fundamental errors that are consistently occurring now.

Without an upturn he's going to have to accept a reduced role next season as a specialisy for certain games only as this isn't good enough to be playing every single week.

His age is starting to show, that said he’s been nowhere near as bad as posters in here suggesting. If he’d been half as bad as some say he wouldn’t be starting almost every game for Pep.
 
Oh Kyle. Stop the nonsense of leaving the winger to have a free run, whilst you jog into place, and then thinking your pace will get you out of trouble. He‘s being targeted repeatedly because he is now becoming a weak link. He’s been a fantastic servant but time to move on at the end of the season. He’s a liability from a positional perspective and his pace is finally waning.
Time to bring in the new Kyle and a new pacy left back too.
Lift the trophy lad and then back over the Pennines to Shef Utd to see out your career, or B Munich at a push.

Im comfortable with either Ake or Gvardiol at leftback, and for the future.

For RB I really only trust Akanji, Walker has too many faults.

We need a new RB, defensive or super attacking, this summer.
 
Walker seems to have lost and yard of pace this season and he had a poor game today. He is far too sloppy in possession and I think the time has come in the Summer for Pep to start looking at bringing in a new rb.
