I love this post, 100% agree with you.I think it’s the influx of outside agitators and a growing list of “demands” from students, including divesting any and all assets in Israel and an increasing level of belligerence when asked to maintain free passage for students.
In addition, some of the protestors barricaded themselves into a landmark building and started damaging property. Hence, police called in & 100 arrests.
These snowflakes think this is their Vietnam. I’d like to see them drafted, THEN they might have something to whine about! And, to a person they’d be a conscientious objector or seek academic deferment!
You can tell how proud and bold they are…most of them are hiding their faces!!!
Comical bravado that any company cannot be seen to be capitulating to.
If the students don’t like the university, fuck off to a different one!
OH MY GOD ITS ARMAGEDDON BECAUSE MICHAEL MOORE SAYS SO.Was watching an interview with Michael Moore on CNN. He's from michigan and said Biden will lose every swing state because of his Israel stance and let Trump in. An absolute certainty unless he listens to the huge percentage of Democrats and changes direction on his policy.
It's a shame such simple concepts have to be explained to rabid, over-the-edge, foaming-at-the-mouth types, but thanks for taking it on.Because he's made the calculation that he can't lose pro-israeli support. That costs him way more than the pro-palestinian support.

Just a quick heads-up for all of you . . . you do know that it's May and these kids are about to go home to mommy and daddy for the summer, right? Including if not especially the graduate students.
So what? He had a 50/50 chance. He’s just said every swing state will go against Biden because of Israel? Not the same “prediction.”Didn't Michael Moore correctly predict Trump's win in 2016?
If they’d do that, yes, but they’re occupying public space, intimidating Jewish students and taking over buildings. Can they not just be left alone and protest themselves out?
But the Majority of Democrats especially the younger ones are finding it difficult to support someone who keeps sending bombs to another country to blow up children. Maybe, just maybe, they'll fuck him over in November and just not vote.So what? He had a 50/50 chance. He’s just said every swing state will go against Biden because of Israel? Not the same “prediction.”
Also — see above re the constituency he might lose.
There’s no “winning” on this. There is only degrees of losing on it.
Those who are left of Biden are trying to hold him hostage by threatening to withhold their votes, which is stupid. Those right of him are using any stick, not matter how small, to beat Biden with — every ill is his fault — because their guy used campaign funds to pay a porn star hush money . . . and then 38,294 other shit stains he’s left on the nation.
She’s the Nadine Doris of America. There's a new political movement, apparently. It's called "MUGU" - LOL.

I think one too many space lasers have hit MTG's head - most of her brain matter seems to have spilt out of the resultant hole.
How are they wrong?
Incidentally, this is what MAGAs have been doing for nearly a decade.
But, yeah, great insight by noted political expert and insider "shaun_vids" (lol).
Oh, wait . . . he has a PATREON PAGE . . . my apologies, he must be important.
Harsh, Neanderthal Woman is probably more classy and articulate than mad Marge.
As an ex-media member who still works with TV and print media weekly in my current job, let me say my perspective on the proliferation of unedited, unfiltered media via technological advances is pretty skewed in the direction away from it. It’s different in the UK than in the US in terms of how the formal press evolved, but intend to gravitate to expert perspectives, even whilst other people/generations thirst for the most entertaining ones.I’m not disagreeing with your point, but Shaun has circa 100 million views on his various long-form video essays that are hours long and is one of the biggest creators in the “BreadTube” space (the social activist part of YouTube). As a British content creator he is comparable in size to GB News despite being just one guy with no production team operating behind a skull avatar.
I don’t think it does anybody any favours to suggest he doesn’t have reach, particularly with this student demographic. This is the kind of thing that makes people look out of touch with how young people consume media.
His takes are generally very sensible, I’d say I agree with him probably on about 80% of the things he talks about.
Like many commentators, he is an idealist, I don’t know if I fault him for that but I think idealism needs to be tempered with pragmatism sometimes to avoid even worse outcomes.
Why would an American (young or old) not wanting to fight for the US in Vietnam or for Israel in Gaza make them a “snowflake”? Or protesting on their campuses either the war on Vietnam or the war on Palestine?I think it’s the influx of outside agitators and a growing list of “demands” from students, including divesting any and all assets in Israel and an increasing level of belligerence when asked to maintain free passage for students.

So you agree ... but because it was a bit too close to the bone you had to respond ...How are they wrong?

The clue might be in the ex .... wtf lolAs an ex-media member who still works with TV and print media weekly in my current job, let me say my perspective on the proliferation of unedited, unfiltered media via technological advances is pretty skewed in the direction away from it. influx of outside agitators was quite an opening statementWhy would an American (young or old) not wanting to fight for the US in Vietnam or for Israel in Gaza make them a “snowflake”? Or protesting on their campuses either the war on Vietnam or the war on Palestine?
Also—and I may have missed it—have you denounced the pro-Israel counterprotestors that were allowed to violently assault the pro-Palestinian protesters seemingly without consequence?
Surely, if students and faculty barricading themselves in a landmark building is worthy of police actions and arrests, open violence against protestors is worthy of it or more?
It isn’t. Trust me.So you agree ... but because it was a bit too close to the bone you had to respond ...
