Went to northern Norway about 3 months ago. Unfortunately I was a month too early for the Northern Lights as the sun stayed above the horizon all night.

I’ve been to Norway and Iceland to see them and it never happened
Iceland we slept in a clear bubble in the mountains, still nothing:/

Bloody bright in Iceland when I saw them last.

Probably get up in an hour or two and head up to knock airport. It's about 10 minutes from here, on elevated ground, with minimal street lighting and unhindered 360 degree views.
