A few mates have seen the northern lights over the Fylde area, Poulton, Thornton and stalmine round that area
You need to be away from street lights, and let you eyes adjust for a few minutes. It’s just dark here with a few stars.
Even down in Buckinghamshire, in a town centre, next to a railway station car park you can make it out.Holy shit in Preston I see them

Went to northern Norway about 3 months ago. Unfortunately I was a month too early for the Northern Lights as the sun stayed above the horizon all night.
We're in Oldham. Just looked outside and can see traces of it, but not the full thing.
Bloody bright in Iceland when I saw them last. That will be it.
Your camera will pick it up better than eyesight.
It's a bit of a myth of how bright it can be to the naked eye.
It’s fucking amazing isn’t it.Utterly insane right now. Never seen them before.
Wish my Dad was here to see it.
