It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Leny Yoro. Top CB prospect at his age by quite some distance. Was deemed Madrid bound but it seems the lad is having second thoughts. Only 18 and starred for Lille this season. Has legs like Virgil. Arguably on Saliba's level already. Could also excel at Stones' role - elite ball carrier too.

Wonder if there's a world we can secure his services? Would likely cost upwards of 50m. Would we spend that on an 18 year old in what could be Pep's last years?

Seems most our targets this window are ready made.

we've been tracking this guy for 2 years now, be alot of money to pony up but a right sided Gvardiol if Kyle going? id take it. United to throw a fuckton of cash at him and Todibo before July.

How many CB's we are going to sign ffs. Yoro isn't ready to step up just yet playing in City's first team. Not suprised he has had second thoughts in signing for Real Madrid as he is yet ready for their set up either. Give your heads a wobble in signing wonderkids.

Yep, we'd have arguably the two best defenders in the world. Rolls-Royce's. And at their ages, talk about setting us up long-term.

Don't think we have too many center backs mate. Stones, Akanji, and Ake are all turning 30 next year. They're also keen to an injury, which doesn't get better with age.

We have some B tier CB's in the system but we don't have an ace. Walker is gone in the summer. Really only have Gvardiol and Dias that'll remain fixtures in our side over the next 5 seasons. Rico's size prohibits him from ever being a game breaker in the best team in the world, but will be a nice rotation option if we keep him.

And what makes you think he isn't ready to step up and play in the first team? I think he walks into the same tier as our current lads. No reason he cannot rotate into different roles when needed.

Give your heads a wobble in signing wonderkids? We signed the biggest wonderkid in the world last summer in Gvardiol mate? Not sure what you're on about. Must have done too much shaking yourself?

Hate seeing alot of post in the last few pages thinking that Walker will be gone next summers.

I can't see that happening and more likely Walker will takes a reduced role next season with Akanji will be playing regulary in his position instead.

Well we need a CB who can play at GK

He has only played 73 games as a professional. And in comparison to Gvardiol he had played more games than Yoro before we stumped up the cash for him.

The Spanish media is even more full of shit than ours, and that's saying something.
same rule they put in place this year for clubs with same owners.

Really can’t see Jack going to be honest, even with Villa in the champions league again now. What fee would we want, £70m at least?
No £100m minimum. He is now a winner so why would we accept a £30m loss to a club that made it clear they wanted Jack to go anywhere else bar the one he is at.

He ain’t going anywhere next season.
