I wonder if they will change their opinion if/when we're cleared. That for me will determine whether or not their takes are reasonable or not.

That’s completely fair, if you can’t accept a verdict from and independent panel then you lose any credibility.

Only gets referenced with Klopp too. Does Pep not get the city? Im pretty sure he does, but it never gets mentioned. Nor does it for any single other manager anywhere. Ever.
Oh I don't know.
Have lived in the North East for last 3 years and Newcastle have great support from their fans, especially when they are winning.
But, I think the national media can go over the top with their praise of their managers and players.
Considering their lack of success since their 1969 Fairs Cup victory and being a regional team (unfortunately, Sunderland are often overlooked, nationally), the media seem desperate to elevate NUFC into some superior success story...

I was going to say they don't go on about Howe 'getting' the city though, but maybe they did years back with Keegan up there?

Greenwood is a piss poor example, as whilst I’ve never called him a rapist there is plainly evidence in the public domain which clearly establishes (at the very least) there would be a civil case to answer. And I would stand in front of anyone and say that.

What is the equivalent evidence in the public domain in relation to City?
There was "evidence" in the public domain though, albeit that consisted of a handful of selective emails that suggested that we might have broken FFP rules. That's why UEFA investigated, and CAS confirmed they had a legitimate basis for doing so.

I said equivalent evidence.

Are you suggesting those doctored emails are equivalent to the tape of what appears to be Greenwood having sex with a female who is telling him to stop?

I didn’t bring Greenwood into the debate. It was a preposterous and foolish example.
