FA Cup Final - Post Game thread

It's a bit of a meh record in this competition since we were founded 16 years ago. 3 wins and two losing finalists. Along with what seems like a load of losing semi finals. I'll have to get my Autoglass Chelsea shirt in the wash, I'm thinking.
Will be a bit tight now Jim.

The first one with Martinez just straight-up putting his shoulder in Haaland's back with zero intent to play the ball was far more egregious IMO, and that's saying something.
aye, i was just waiting for the ball to hit the back of the net when i saw the ball was about to land square on the vikings noggin, strange desicion

It was the laughing and smiling from the squad that did my head in. The amount of money I and many others spent to watch them today, it's disgusting.
I don't expect a win but I at least expect some effort and some fight. Been a while since I've been so pissed off with city, forgotten what it was like

Where's the politics come into it? This could well have been a kid who lost their parents and limbs in a car crash on a British Rd for example.
but it wasn't it was about gazza, and fuck all to do with what this thread is about

No way we are questioning this team and this coach am not even arsed about today's loss. We again next season

He got it wrong….but to be fair when the announcer read out the team….I still thought we would have far too much for that lot……He kept the same 11 for the big games at the end of last season.

I think the celebrations of last week played as bigger part as the team selection in our defeat.

The squad is definitely in need of a refresh…..but still a fabulous feat….4 in a row
Virtually any combo we put out should have too much for that lot, today's included. Baffled why we were so poor, without the scum being great. 4 in a row is superb, but in isolation that was a complete shitter this afternoon.

Thought we'd struggle after the over celebrations. Pep looked a bit knackered and not arsed in the pre-match presser apart from blowing smoke up the Rag's arses. Long season and it was a game too far for the players who probably had too little time to prepare and not the same level of intense motivation from Pep. Credit to them though, they defended well, were organised and Ten Haag deserves a lot of credit for how he set them up.

Over it already.

What a team 4 premier league titles on the bounce.

We have struggled against very defensive teams with every player behind the ball. Normally we find away to win, Normally we don't give silly goals away. Perhaps it was one game to far, thankfully it was the Cup and not the league.

That silly first goal gave the rags something to hang onto.

I was in a pub but what was the reason for the non penalty against Haaland when he was wrestled to the ground ?
He was wearing a blue shirt.

Considering what was at stake regarding making bit more history, we were poor.

I don't know if it was complacently or just poor management but we royally fucked it up..

Without doubt,we are still the best team in Europe by a million miles ..

FFS..
Definitely. Think we got it wrong regarding the CB selection and Doku not starting. Akanji and Dias should have been the partnership that was the run-in partnership.
