Bellingham has only scored against us while at Borussia Dortmund and his performance this season haven't been impressive at all. The hype for him is ridiculous. Especially when he had turned us down to join Real Madrid.
He opted for the easier league which more or less guaranteed medals. I’ve not seen him have an outstanding game against top teams outside Spain

UK sports media is stuffed, full to the brim with utd and liverpool fanzine writers. Not that most of them are from Manchester and liverpool, but they chose them as their team when they were winning stuff.

And now it's City winning, they can't stand it. Not one of these fanzine writers cares about ffp, the charges, human rights, etc. They're only crying as they aren't winning anymore. Which is why we get so much shit and our achievments are over looked.

Not helped by City's media department being a bunch of pussies who try and be as accommodating as possible to them.
In a nut shell.

Isnt it funny when it looked like we could go back to back in the cl that it had lost its magic and had become dull but now madrid have won it for the 15th time the praise is deafening, the inate bias is maddening at times.

Exactly.

Don’t forget, Real Madrid are still trying to resurrect the Super League. Not to mention being billions in debt. Yet this and more is overlooked, and the media w@nkfest of a shit stain of a club, including the president goes on unchallenged and unabated.

Also the irony is it was such a low quality, boring final...and it's supposed to be city who make football boring, well compare and contrast our games against Madrid and also last season's final, (which I know through blue tinted specs) but seemed to ebb and flow with tension from the first minute to the last

Madrid shithoused their way all the way through from start to finish, they deserved to go out against leipzig, us and munich and lose last nite, if that was europes premier club competition and an advert for football then you may as well let wayne rooney advertise for a gym

But, but, being totally outplayed on numerous occasions, woodwork being hit, sitters being missed, one on ones, etc etc is all part of the plan according to Jose Mourinho. Further evidence that football has left him long behind.

The two Spanish clubs owe a fortune despite carving the TV money up between them for decades.

There's a very funny article on the back of the Sports Section in the DT today. It highlights what a lot of us thought about the footy coverage from the broadcasters.

Alan Tyers is the journo. He writes: Rio Ferdinand and Steve McManaman were special players but allowing or encouraging them to bounce about like Real Madrid superfans after a third can of Red Bull is far from a great watch. . . . .

and

The TNT feed on X had a clip of its pundits' reaction after Vinicius Junior scored: Ferdinand barked 'Ballon d'Or' not once, not twice but nine times. Initially one wondered if something had gone wrong with him. Had he been possessed by the spirit of Father Ted's Father Jack Hacket. Would Woods have to unplug Rio and reboot him? It feels like Ferdinand always has half an eye on how his punditry is going to look when he watches it back on his phone in the Addison Lee afterwards.

Classic stuff!

scoring in a final off the back of a mistake by the opposition team gets u a balon d'or does it when rodri isnt even mentioned , wind it in camel gob

Still stuck in a Spanish hospital. Can't help but contrast how RMs win is treated like.a triumph for the whole Spanish nation and compare it to how we were recieved last year. The grudging acknowlement of our triumph, you'd think the British team had lost. I cant imagine over here in Barcelona and Bilbao not to mention the red half of Madrid the result will have caused universal rejoicing. But here In Majoca they celebrated long and hard they really our the rags of Spain but bigger.

It did catch my attention on Saturday that TNT had swapped McPointy with McCoist, and rightly so.
That semi final of Pointy screaming like a Real Madrid fanboy was cringey to say the least.
Absolutely no professionalism in his role as a pundit.
He'd obviously been called out by some viewers for them to drop him

Bellingham's contributions in big games has shrunk as his ego has expanded.

A proper shoulder shrugging whiner.

As for that world superstar Sancho....fucking hell !!

Philip Walter......

4 PLs on the bounce.
Treble winner.
European & World Club Champion.
Football writers player of the year.
Players player of the year.
27 goals
More assists than a crossing warden.

Golden Ball....??
