PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

They've drifted out, it was 25/1 last week. I was hoping they'd shorten as we would become the first club in history to be favourites for both the title and relegation in the same season.

No idea, but every media outlet is shit scared of them.

They daren't mention Heysel, yet every fan of every other club i know, still hates them for getting English clubs banned from Europe.

I know a few dippers and they try and change the subject when i bring it up, but you can tell they hate being reminded of it and it's still on their minds.
I bring it up a lot :-)

I agree with last bit but the problem for them is that they haven't slowed us down.

We're the best run club and team in England and probably Europe and our trophy haul proves it.

The only way they can try and hurt us is by constantly besmirching our name. Yeah it hurts to read such negativity, but that will all come to a grinding halt when we clear our name.

In the mean time, a reminder to the haters :

We've won 6 out of the last 7 titles, the last 4 in a fucking row!!!!

One year it was being the first team to get 100 points, another was the first team to win the domestic treble, another by winning "the" treble and the last by being the first team to win 4 in a fucking row!!!! :-))

I'm still in awe of the football i've seen us play and of our many recent achievements and the haters can talk shite all they like, but they will never take those memories away from us!
 
My q is 6 weeks, CAS was 3 days.

The PL must have some more evidence, otherwise what is going to be discussed??

I honestly think the 115 charges (which can be already whittled down to a handful already really) will disintegrate if we win the case we are pursuing against the PL this month. My guess is the legal advice we've received is that the rules introduced since the takeover, but certainly in the last year or two are in themselves unfair/ illegal. The PL in effect keep moving the goalposts to make us guilty of whatever they feel like. Prove that and the six week hearing in Nov along with the charges will likely disappear.

I think they’ll be decided on their own merits & cleared with irrefutable evidence. However, after that if we can then prove we were

  • Banned by UEFA despite no evidence of wrongdoing overturned by CAS.
  • Overturned rules implemented despite breaking UK laws aimed at City.
  • Cleared of 115 charges that has been laid after pressure from other clubs.
Maybe after all this it leaves no doubt of targeted attack on City.

And that would be the time for the club to comment. I can't believe that there are still posters who believe that anything the club's pr team say or do would alter the coverage of jackasses like Winter and Holt or the faecal outpourings of the myriad club-affiliated content-providers out there.

I wonder if we can be cleared on our own merit. Not because we've done anything wrong, but because the PL kept moving the goalposts and applying rules retrospectively to make us wrongdoers.
The whole thing with rules introduced since our takeover is that they are cynical and targeted. A bit like parking your car legally and someone then putting up a no parking sign and clamping you while you are in the shop.

Would that include the arsenal headed letter?
 
The rumour that it starts in November is nothing new. The rumour that it will only take six weeks is, as far as what I thought at least.
