You've go to admit, he looks like he will fit right in. Alongside Martinez (when he's fit) its a dream signing and a perfect replacement for Arry, if they can offload him.
Martinez is "The Butcher".

He doesn't respond to anything else and don't you forget it.

He wouldn't be able to see over the counter, but that's by the by.

My 3 year old granddaughter thinks United are signing someone from the Trolls movie franchise. Bless.

I asked that question in the FFP thread, How do new signings show on the balance sheets ? Do they have to put the full amount on the annual figures or do they show how much they paid on each installments, Did Manchester City pay in full for the transfers because we have the money, Meaning our figures are always high
Balance sheet will show the asset value, that doesn't change regardless of how it's paid for assuming all other things are the same. That will be the total value over the assets useful life, (contract length) It's being done to help with the cashflow statements.

Simply put, they haven't got the cash so they've agreed to pay more in exchange for spreading the cost.

Vast majority of transfers are paid for in installments, at least the big money ones, it's very rare any club would just pay upfront, the exception to this is when release clauses are met. The whole figure is required upfront to trigger the release clause, in reality most release clauses aren't actually triggered, they'll stump up the money to trigger them but they'll often come to an agreement on how its paid. Neymar to PSG was a high profile example of barca refusing to negotiate and forcing PSG to trigger his release clause, it majorly fucked PSG's plans who went on a spree of free signings afterwards because they had no cash.

the pr has really gone into overdrive with this one, hes that good they are having to do articles to tell us how good he is, in my experience if someone is that good the press dont need to convince people.
Exactly mate, the talking is done on the pitch.

And looking at that video of him a few posts back he looks a real carthorse.

To be honest I really don't see the attraction of going to the rags, particularly a young player.
The place is a shambles, poor statium, poor training ground, poor management.
A mid table team at best. Most players careers have nosedive since joining the rags.

If a young player is signing just for the wage package that says alot about the players attitude.

I just don't see the attraction apart from the wages.
They've become a stepping stone.
