Its gets trotted out like clockwork with every new signing of theirs… The only good thing about this, is it actually damages the rags/said player (when they dont live up to the hype)!!

Let's be honest how many on here on heard of this generational talent before last week? If he was that good wouldn't he at least have made the French squad for the Euros? 62m euros equates to around £52m. Forest have just signed a Serbian who has played over 200 times in Serie A, over 50 international caps, played in two world cups and a Euros for £12m.

Sky source reveals that Sir Jim to fix leaky roof.

Excellent news from the Worlds Greatest Club this afternoon as evidence has emerged that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will loosen the purse strings to redevelop Old Trafford.
Sir Jim has reportedly signed the cheque and ordered a new £52m Hedgehog gutter brush (as approved by Talksport) as below.IMG_3016.jpeg
 
Ok never heard of these players but being hyped up by fans and media as the second coming of Christ !
A few weeks ago I understood they had a limited budget and had to sell high earning players to buy but they look like a kid in a sweet shop ! Can someone with more savvy financial brain tell what has changed .
