Altercation at Terminal 2

That policeman needs a better team around him, can't fault the female officer that was knocked down but the other officer that moved out to the right leaving his colleague in a 2 v 1 situation should be ashamed of himself, if those men had knives it could have turned very ugly
 
Wrote this in the policing thread but will post it here too.

Seen the new footage.

Didn't think it was well handled from the outset when the officer pushed one of the suspects head down immediately, seemed to kick things off.

However the two lads should be arrested and charged for assaulting 4 police officers, not least punching two women officers.

The officer who stamped on his head will get a disciplinary hearing. It was clearly wrong in an ordinary situation but the fact he looked concussed from mulitple blows to the head will be a mitigating factor. I don't think he'll lose his job over it. At least he shouldn't, imo.

It's why everyone needed to chill until further information and footage was released. The person who released it without showing the assaults on the officers clearly knew what he was doing.

Also, the extremist agitators on both the Anti-Muslim and the Anti-Police side should all shut the fuck up.
 
If the copper responsible for the kick and stamp is to face the full consequences of his actions then the same applies to those responsible for assaulting the officers in the first place. And if I’m not mistaken, assaulting a police officer carries a stiffer sentence. Also, I’m not condoning what the copper did but looking at that video, you can see how quickly it all escalates and it’s kind of understandable why he lost it. He should know better of course but at the end of the day he’s a human being like the rest of us and we all have our breaking points.

As for the WPC, fair play to her - hard as nails. I don’t see any stray elbows from fellow officers either!
 
For reasons probably not known to most on here I can't and wont make any comment on either of the videos other than there are always 2 sides to every story but mainly ones seen on social media.

Based only on the video evidence, I can see no further than the imprisonment of those who violently attacked the police, and the disciplining of the police officer who kicked and stamped on the head of a tasered man.
 
When does the scrotes solicitor make a public apology, he was all over the news after the initial footage was aired, it's all gone spookily quite in the community.
No compo for the feral rat, enjoy getting your arsed ripped open in strangeways.

Nah, police officers can't be stamping on peoples heads when they're lying tasered on the ground.

Zero sympathy for the guy on the ground, big sympathy for the officer in the heat of the moment, but once it's in the public on video, you have to do some kind of reprimand.

I'm not implying anything, save for the fact that footage will be available from CCTV or bodycam before that footage, which may or may not prove evidential. I have no angle, if you have an attitude/agenda, drop it, cos I don't

Have you actually watched it? The hero clearly has little idea what day it is after being assaulted multiple times. His instinct literally kicks in.
 
It's probably how I would have reacted, I'm not gonna lie. After I'd had 5 pints of Stella. Good job I'm not a trained police officer :))

Or those who protested outside the police station? At the very least, get the local councillors or community leaders to release a statement admitting that the protesters were too hasty in their actions.
