A two together railcard via trainline costs £30 between them but gets 30% off rail travel for 12mths when travelling together so one London trip would pay itself.Late decision from my eldest and his pal to go. Just checked train prices and it’s £220 for the 2 of them Stockport (of course!) to Euston return. Anyone got any tips on cheaper routes, coaches, same day return?

With a two together card costing £30 an off peak return is £143 so £173 in total for the two of them.Late decision from my eldest and his pal to go. Dunno why they don’t just come in the car with me and my other son. I let them drink etcWith a two together card costing £30 an off peak return is £143 so £173 in total for the two of them.
Because our players and pep dropped a massive bollockWhy are United in it then?
Where have you read that? The City website says the phone tickets will be downloadable 2 weeks before the game.
Why isn’t the button to enable me to do this active yet ?
Have they changed the date and not bothered to tell me??
Use one of the split tickets websites. It will be much cheaper to get a train to Crewe then get a seperate ticket for a West Midlands train to Euston. There are lots of cheap trains to London from Crewe. You can also get Chiltern Trains from Birmingham Moor Street direct to Wembley Stadium which is very cheap. Just avoid the Avanti trains. Train to Birmingham New Street and five minute walk to Moor Street for the Chiltern line. Much easier after the match as well because the West Stand is adjacent to Wembley Stadium station so no tube fares needed.Late decision from my eldest and his pal to go. Crewe on West Midlands trains only is £105 for both of them. If they can get someone else to tag along it’s £105 for all 3 using their group save ticket which you don’t need a railcard for. Up to 9 people get a 1/3 off if travelling together.Late decision from my eldest and his pal to go. Just checked train prices and it’s £220 for the 2 of them Stockport (of course!) to Euston return. On the City website in my ticket details ..Where have you read that?
Ticket details says:
Tickets for this match will be issued as mobile tickets which you will be required to add to your Apple/Google wallet.
The mobile ticket link will be sent to the lead booker no later than 5 days prior to the match
Good point. Maybe I will reconsider. We seem to be somewhat unlucky with the CS and it is about time we won it again.Well we’ve only ever won it twice at Wembley, so I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself.
Ah right ticket info for the game states the below, you'll get an email probably later this week with a link to download. I might be wrong but I don't think any none home game has been available to download through the City website. On the City website in my ticket details ..
Exact wording as follows:
Tickets
A link to your mobile ticket will be sent at a later date or you can select 'Add to mobile' below within 2 weeks of the game.

I’m easily confused these days mate, I dare say you are right and that’s just home games :-)Ah right ticket info for the game states the below, you'll get an email probably later this week with a link to download. You will be lucky to find somewhere close to Wembley to park a train for £6:90 mate?Train from Telford to Wembley Stadium return (with FOC card):
Telford Central to Brum New Street: £9
Brum Moor Street to Wembley Stadium: £25.20
Total: £34.20 + Parking: £6.90 = £41.10
or.......
Telford to Wembley Central: £48.90 + £6.90 = £55.80
It's only a short walk from New St to Moor St.
Seriously mate, nothing could be further from the truth, it won’t make a blind bit of difference to what transpires in any PL or any other game this season ..What type of team are we going to play in this ? Non of our key players will be ready or even on the bench. Crazy pre season & transfer window this.
We are going to give the rags a confidence boost at the start of the season which is not great
TBF That's helped drag a few more 'on the fence' blues out - Imagine the press / social Media..City empty seats at Wembley - they will love it...Utd have helped avoid this for a week in all honestyBecause our players and pep dropped a massive bollock
We don't really start until September most seasons so a pre season friendly (which the CS always has been) means nothing ...literally nothingWhat type of team are we going to play in this ? Non of our key players will be ready or even on the bench. Crazy pre season & transfer window this.
