...and also that they WILL be better because of all these new players, never that he would EXPECT that they COULD be better IF the payers gel. Does my head in too.

Cockney mentality mate, they put over confidence drugs in their water as well as all the limescale. Lived down there (literally where their new stadium is just down from the Michael Sobell sports centre) for a decade and they're all like that.

And they streamed out of Wembley on the previous Sunday, after our third went in.

We were sitting right next to them, so had a perfect view to witness it.

Went to that and to be fair to the Tarquins it was quite chilly.
 
I won’t repost it here… but Simon Stones has written the most cringeworthy sycophantic article on a team I’ve ever read on the BBC site. He’s gone full Gooner. Clearly things are as bad as we hoped at United.
