With Bobb's uncertain injury situation we could use a wide player. With the way we look to be playing we have no one beyond Doku and Savinho who fit that mold. I'm not the biggest fan of Phil playing on the wing especially with how impactful he is inside. Bernardo is needed inside as well if we don't bring in another CM. Someone who could play across the front 3 would be ideal, backing up Haaland and the wingers. Someone like an Olmo or what Pep hoped Alvarez to be...

Kevin is ageing, he hasn’t got the same speed, and Kovacic is predisposed to injuries, although we have been quite lucky in that regard. The real threat is Rodri’s legs. If he goes for long term, our season is done at the highest level.

So yeah, midfield, and a CF that would accept a second role at the club. Difficult to find, ridiculously expensive, highly doubtful.

I love Jack...I'm just making the point that his availability or lack thereof has become an ever increasing problem for him and for us...much more than any issues with form...
