Has Borges been sold?
Has Borges been sold?
Beyond bizarre. It relates in that Ray thinks no one currently outside the club is ever good enough. Raphinha plays here no problem. He's miles ahead of the likes of Palmer, Bobb, or McAtee at this point. He's a full Brazil international for Christ's sake. Please let's keep it real. This is getting more ridiculous by the day.How in Earth do you draw that conclusion?
You couldn’t be more wrong fella. I always thought he was shite. Thought he would be terrible in our team and have not changed my opinion. The drop off in the midfield when he plays is astonishing.
Not sure how you think Raphina relates to him.
Bizarre comment!
Raphinha is ranked 4th behind Saka, Salah, and Rodrygo by 4 4 2 and 6th behind Salah, Saka, Rodrygo, Gnabry, and Dembele by 90 min. In both cases one spot above Mahrez. That's debatable for me but what's not debatable is that he's a top class wide forward. Your inability to rate players is astounding. I'm starting to think it's a put on to rankle people. You can't possibly watch football and come to the conclusions you come to...Raphinha is certainly not a patch on Mahrez and both are ex-Leeds players who one way or another haven't yet (or will not in Raphinha's case) improve the depth of the sqaud.
Dembele to PSG seems to be happening. Let’s hope Barca will go for Cancelo now
Maybe Rice wanted Arsenal and I have no issue with that, so what do you want us to do, sign a player that really does not want to join?Sliding doors and all. If Pep had a left back and a striker, could’ve had three champions leagues.
Bellingham chose Madrid, Ruce was attainable for £15 above the first bid, so pocket change. Like you said, if no one else is out there, the £15m looks even smaller.
Phillips is simply not up to standard, he's lost and sadly I think he is aware that he is and knows he is out of his depth. Both should be priorities. Getting rid of Kalvin Phillips should be a priority as well. He is harmful to us going forward as it stands. The report couple of weeks ago that Bayern planned to go after him later in the window when it would be clear to him that he wouldn’t get many chances wouldn’t surprise me if it had truth to it. I expect Pep to have an honest talk with the guy.
I don’t know how real were the reports that Liverpool wanted him. The thought that we/him blocked it and then they end up getting Lavia instead is revolting to say the least
I personally don't think Walker wants to go, simply down to signing a huge unexpected contract at the age of 33.We will, certain of it.
Still think Walker might be waiting to see if Bayern get Kane over the line?
As long as they are the right players, I don't think we should care if it goes to the final day of the window.
Another creative, scoring midfielder, should be a priority over a winger for me.
Pep does not use traditional FB's, in fact nearly every traditional position on the field Pep has recreated. Here’s the crux of it, Pep’s out in his own. He has enabled us to wing it, no left back or striker for years. The squad was already light and key players have left, ok to reserve judgement till September, but we can’t be shopping in Poundland for replacements. I fear the PR machine and looking good to a wider audience is making us too thrifty.
