PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Hang on….. they are taking bets they know in advance they will never have to pay out & you claim they are damned if they do…….

Surely they shouldn’t open a book on it & the gambling commission should be looking at that,
Technically we could be relegated through footballing results which legitimises the bet, would be my assumption.

If the bookies were that confident of us being found guilty and therefore relegated the price would be nowhere near 12/1.
I wonder how many of the 'They're obviously guilty' brigade are putting a bet on it?
Bang on there @Gazza. There was a bloke on facebooks football insider page who insisted he worked in a bookie’s and that City being 12/1 to get relegated must be evidence of some guilt.
Ycnmiu.

I see Jordan is turning into prime Martin Samuel. How embarrassing for him after the bollocks he has spouted for so many years.

Tbf, he said he was wrong and was naive and he now feels PSR (as it is) isn't achieving any good for the game. He also says the PL needs leadership to decide what it wants financial regulation to achieve and how.

On YouTube as part of @slbsn 's talks this morning. He must have been reading Bluemoon :)

The bookies haven’t calculated the odds that way though. The odds should reflect it & be fair & honest or stop complaining when punters get inside info.

Also Masters finding himself “unable/unwelcome” to present the PL trophy to the four times champions speaks for itself. Khaldoon recently bigging-up Allison Brittain and the lady Chair of the FA tells me that Masters is fucked and the club are looking beyond his toxic regime with an eye to the future.

More faces than the town hall clock that fella. He’s a gobshite.

Listening to Stefan on talk sport, the premier league must be up to their eye balls in litigation.

Chelsea, Leicester, city all currently have litigation with the premier league, how are the PL managing to deal with all this?

The money fighting the legal stuff will be making the pot they devide up between their stakeholders (20 Premier League clubs) and also what they can contribute to the lower levels of the football pyramid smaller and smaller. All because the rags and dippers can’t hack they aren’t top dogs anymore.

I think that's why City don't pay much attention to the British press/media. City are on the world stage not just little old England and it's bitter press/media
Those of a certain age have only known the cartel teams in red dominate, apart from the Chelski abberation. They dominate the British media having built their careers on it. Fergusons class of 1992 happened over 30 years ago, Liverpools golden age even longer ago whilst Wenger hung on to their shirt tails without dominating.

Kids in the UK now only remember City success and the media click chasers will soon go the way of Hanson and Lawro as pundits (How many remember them?)

Outside the UK, interest in the Premier League is relativelely recent so their history club narrative is as relevant as the success of the likes of Aston Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle and other clubs who enjoyed their peak success over 100 years ago.

The facts and figures for MCFC speak for themselves. City is on the world stage and the British press/media anti bias is little more than paraochial diversion as part of the campaign against City promoted by American owned teams in red who believe our owners should know their place and defer to them.

After all UAE was effectively a UK colony until fairly recently yet the FA predates the likes of Germany as a nation for example and when exactly was the Civil War in the USA? Nothing positive will come out of trying to reason with these people so best to ignore.

“What are we fixing, what was broken” pleads Simon querying the logic behind the introduction of PSR.

This from the **** who for years has been saying likkle City are ruining the PL by winning it every year.
What was "broken" was that Man United and Arsenal weren't guaranteed to fucking win everything. At last the penny is starting to drop.

A complete fiasco. None of these clubs have broken any law. They have not gone bust or failed to pay their debts. They have just shown ambition and invested in their business. Leicester have done great things in their local community. Why are they being persecuted along with City?

Because they had the temerity to win the league ahead of cartel simp club Spurs.
