Yeah, but there aren’t many who can smack a 22yard tap in! That pen was a bit of a hi-speed tap in!

Played some very complex stuff perfectly and music not dated in any way? Bernie is even getting better with age - he's never been Enrico Caruso, but his manc voice suits the music perfectly.
Give me "past it" anyday. A fine wine and all that.

Disagree. Thought they did ok actually. Ref was shocking which helped their “style” a bit.

Atmosphere a bit flat but being 3-1 early on played a part in that. Great to see Gundo back.
 
Although I thought Rico had another very good game I did think he was a little culpable for their goal. Allowed the runner to get inside him and then when the ball was played his first instinct was to play offside. Not a great idea when everybody else is running the other way. Also, really should've scored instead of trying to break the crossbar. That said, he's some player.

Its all true. But overally close to brilliant game for Rico. Hes idea for a goal been quite good - smash it high above anybody's reach. A little bit of calmness/composure, a bit less power put this attempt away of highest level, but yeah, at the end a bit of unlucky

Yup, you would expect lots of room for improvement at 19. On their goal it looks like he misjudged the offside situation, which is the sort of thing that will be remedied by experience.

I was of course irritated by the goal but was as sure as I could be it would be a blip in the game. What still irks though is that City’s opponent has one shot and scores from it. We need to be that little bit tighter.
