PL Ipswich Town (h) post match thread

Shout out to the Ipswich fans who spent the entire game waiting for a few minutes of relative quiet from City fans to burst into songs about our support, without singing anything else about their own team. Enjoy your year in the top flight, you are the weakest link.
I get it's their big day out and they have their cliched championship songbook to get through, but waiting until the 40th minute to squeeze the library stuff in is boring as fuck. Just pure cringe.

Easy win in first gear. Ipswich worked hard and some beat passing at times but they will find it hard work in this league.

Thought Savinho was great first half, Doku worked hard and Rico did well bar his miss.

Haaland excellent and thought Akanji was too.
Thought Doku not so great- not much end product. Tried hard though

Great result. Stone wall for us, surprised they didn’t get theirs.

If they can shore up they have a chance.

The pen must get the reward at the end of the season for The Most Begrudgingly Given Pen of the Season. A clear, obvious, blatant foul. It was right under our nose in CBL3, and the halfwit gives a goal kick. If VAR have directed him to the off pitch telly then it's damn clear to the nation's partially sighted it must be a foul! If he decides the incident took place outside would be get the direct free kick after he's given Ipswich the goal kick.

It was just another normal run-of-the-mill result and a Haaland hattrick, Even the gift of their goal was normal against a newly promoted championship team for us,

The control and game management by Pep after we went 3.1 up was like watching the Lion Tamer and a crack of his whip, We huff and puff and growl a lot but Pep will not let them get out of the routine.
