That was King Kurt, though...I read a while back that most acts only break even for concerts and make most of their lolly on merch sales.

Haven't the artists any say who buys their tickets and sells them? I see they have warned some people not to resell them, are only the official scalpers exempt from criticism?

Oasis gigs sell out after scramble for tickets
Some fans faced difficulties accessing websites selling tickets for the band's comeback gigs in the UK and Ireland next year.www.bbc.com
That’s the known unknown! Will they complete the tour without one of them wearing the other’s banjo!Yeah but then they have to spend 50 dates in each others company!
Legalised touting. Nothing more. Cunts.Haven't the artists any say who buys their tickets and sells them? I see they have warned some people not to resell them, are only the official scalpers exempt from criticism?

Oasis could have opted out of dynamic pricing but choose not to. Twats.
Just been texted off a mate who said City ST holders got early access .
I’m sure it’s bollocks but if anyone knows different .
So Ticketmaster double or tripled prices on tickets after waiting 6 hours to get on but warn about by over inflated prices on re sale…absolute joke should be illegal can’t warranty over £600 for two tickets
It's not a legislative problem. The problem is Ticketmaster have said "we can probs get £350 for some of these tickets. Do you want us to sell them at this price if chumps are daft enough to pay it." The band/promoters and management have agreed to it. Bands have the power to stop it if they care.
Once all the tickets are gone they’ll then do a live TV deal for at least a few of the concerts. Either that or listen in your car in the Sainsbury’s car park.
Picturing it like the Taylor Swift cinema thing but with pissed 45 year olds called Gaz, fucked on Stella, cocaine and doner kebabs
While 45 per cent of Swift's US fans are millennials — like the 34-year-old herself — 21 per cent are Gen X and 25 per cent are Boomers, according to a 2023 survey. That means nearly half of her millions of fans are likely over 45. Middle-aged Swifties aren't shy about their adoration
