Really?Tin hat on but my ticket is only a couple of quid more than i thought it would be.
I'm in the cup scheme.
This is the other factor as well I’m not platinum and haven’t been for years I missed out Porto final by 500 points and just got an Istanbul ticket, I’ll never catch up and falling further behind, I’ve seen us win the lot I’m 55 and it’s getting grating now, I got lambasted for saying they might charge for the new fanzone eventually, think that will not happen I’d think again.Binned off the CL years ago, wouldn't have the points/money for the final anyway.
Won’t be long until the club will be saying that all ST holders have to be enrolled in all the cup schemes. This would be a sure fired way of getting rid of some ST holders to create for room for the one off touristsWorth countering this by saying they also have the lowest percentage of season tickets in the league by some margin. They have just 27k season tickets for a 61k stadium, we have 40k season tickets for a 52k stadium. It's the equivalent of us having just 23k season tickets.
We've been a tourist club for a few years now.I hate to say it but it many respects our Club is becoming more Raggy by the day. It’s all about “revenue opportunities “ these days and less and less about the legacy fans. Going to a game is getting to be really expensive when you factor in petrol, parking, a pie, a pint and a programme and it comes to not far off £75 for a regular seat. Multiply that 23 or 24 home games a season and it’s starting to get out of the reach of regular fans
Thought it would be £35 with the rest of the group games £5 to £10 cheaper.Really?
I’m in the Cup Scheme and it’s the same price as the quarter final was against Madrid last season and it’s £25.50 more expensive than the Leipzig home Group Stage game last season and £22.50 more expensive than the Dortmund home Group Stage game the season before.
I researched this last season, I’ll have to see what they’re all doing with the new format, but:Won’t be long until the club will be saying that all ST holders have to be enrolled in all the cup schemes. No we're not? We have one of, if not the largest percentage of season tickets in the league, we are at about 75% the dippers are below 45%, the lowest in the league which means every single game they play at home theres potentially more tourists in the ground than local support. We are not even close to being in the same situation as them and there isn't a poorer choice of club to want to take example from than the dippers.City are clearly aiming to get to a similar percentage of season ticket holders though, Liverpool’s non season ticket members are given much more reasonable prices, previous attendance is recognised when selling tickets. City do none of this, it’s a complete joke.
Is it really though, Im a matchday buyer and we are going,Inter may be the best team we see us play this year and it wiil, unless we do a domestic cup game be the cheapest.Cheeky bastards £47 out of order City ffs

What they do with match tickets might be better than us, i'm not disputing that or trying to defend city, i,ve already expressed my anger at this latest piss take but the cost of these dipper concessions is almost halving the season ticket pool. If they had 40k+ season tickets as we do. There'd be none of that, the dipper fans would trade ticketing policy with us in a heartbeat.
Would you sooner we dropped 13,000 season tickets with the lowest points next season but then offered a tiny portion of those tickets cheap and a small window of priority?
Like I said, not defending City here just pointing out the full context. If we're going to pick a team to want to emulate, don't pick the biggest tourist trap stadium in the league
City don’t open up season tickets (that have been given up) as season tickets anymore. Haven’t been doing for two years. Our season ticket percentage is dropping year-on-year as a result. No we're not?
