Shame if true as he looked quite useful towards the end of last season. Good luck to him whatever happens.

He still here?Decent player, but he’s behind O’Reilly, Wright and Dada-Mascoll in terms of young midfielders at the club so it makes sense for his to move on.
He still here?
contract was up in June, not seen any re-signs info anywhere. Why wouldn’t he be? Unfortunately he just seems to be very injury prone at the moment.

2022 he signed a 2 year deal is all i can find. oh well.. sure we'd know if he was gone. The 05/06 batch (Dada-Mascoll, Ndala, Heskey, Wright, Grant, Naylor, Simpson-Pusey, Samuel etc) would have all signed their first pro contracts in summer 2023, I just don’t think the club announced it.
Ndala and Taylor can both be taken off that list. The EDS squad is looking pretty stacked this season
Wint
Brits
Carrington
Samuel
Alleyne
Noble
Parker
Smith
Simpson-Pusey
Naylor
Taylor
Okeke
Dada-Mascoll
Gray
Wright
Wilcroft-King (not sure if he’d signed yet)
Ndala
Lawrence
Oboavwoduo
Alcala
Alfa-Ruprecht
Heskey
Muir
Dickson
Warhurst
That’s almost 30 players and doesn’t include any U18s who might play up a level (Mukasa, Mfuni etc)
Does anyone know if Isaac Smith has left the academy?
Nice insight, cheers.I'm a referee & regularly officiate at the CFA doing u16s/u18's level, so have seen alot of these players come through the ranks.
Observations I've made after reffing a couple u18 pre season games in recent weeks:
- Reigan Heskey is a brilliant player, plays off the left wing and knows where the net is - will go a long way if he carries on.
- Dunbar-Mcdonald is also fantastic. Plays on the opposite wing to Reigan, so skillful, great with both feet and is absolutely rapid. Similar style of play to Joel Ndala who we have just loaned to PSV
- Floyd Samba is also one to watch, plays in the 8 & is a great ball carrier. Strong as an Ox too.
Will update throughout the season as I officiate these guys more regularly.
