Ticket Pricing for Inter (H)

If it wasn’t for fans standing together we wouldn’t have had cheaper away tickets.

Who cares if it's United or Liverpool fans, if you’re being priced out. Collective action if often the only way fans can have a say.
I disagree.
City fans should boycott however the club will just sell them to other people.
The club have backed down on the parking issues for fans with disabilities, I didnt see one United,Liverpool fan chirping up about that decision.
Did any other fans stand with Spurs when they scrubbed concessions for OAPs etc...?? No

What, even though they have done in the past?
I’ve pointed it out already on this thread but fan groups from all 20 PL clubs came together on PL away ticket prices which led to the £30 price cap. Out of those 20 clubs, fan groups from City (1894 Group), Liverpool (Spirit Of Shankly), and Everton (Blue Union) were the main drivers behind it. Along with Newcastle fan Kevin Miles at the Football Supporters Federation (now the FSA).
Is the £30 price cap a good thing ?Yeah for the minority fortunate enough to get tickets for away games.

But bean counters have replaced that lost revenue by upping the prices of home tickets and so the majority of fans subsidise the fortunate few.

good for away fans, but pricing for home fans to subsidise surely has gone up across all clubs

I don’t think so.

It works out at £1.710,000 a season.

£30x3000x19games.

No club has ever said reducing the price of away tickets to £30 has to be subsidised by increased ticket prices for home fans.

Clubs have often cited the increase in operating costs as the reason for increasing the price of season tickets and match day tickets.

There are no negatives for reducing away tickets from £60+ to £30.

The PL and PL clubs accepted away followings and away ends were becoming emptier because away fans couldn’t afford the cost of £60+ away tickets, away travel, drink, food etc.

The away ticket cap is a great thing, no doubt about it. Some clubs may see this as a loss of revenue and try and claw it back in other areas. Seems a bit daft really but you never know.

Scruffy Jim knows how to reduce operating costs.(at United)

The only problem with the £30 away cap is the club(s) are now getting round it by selling an ever increasing % of away tickets at vastly inflated prices through “official partners”. So lower cost for fewer and fewer regular fans. A true double edged sword.

If I remember correctly it was City fans who protested at £62 a ticket at Highbury many seasons ago.

Think you’ve missed his point

Arr yeah those brilliant other teams fans who have constantly belittled our achievements, permanently called us cheats, take great pleasure in calling our support at any opportunity. Do fuck off mate!
I sympathise with city fans. The pricing is a joke for certain parts of the ground but dont ever expect me to stand side by side with any of those cunts.
Yeah I know lets all go and protest together..Talk about short memories...
Thanks for letting everything I said go in one ear and out the other and confirming what a fucking idiot you are. Guess what? Some fans of all clubs can leave their rivalries at the door when it comes to this kind of thing. You’re obviously totally incapable of doing that. I’ll ask you again - how else do you expect fans to address the issue of ticket pricing in football if you think it’s so abhorrent for fans of all clubs to join forces? You haven’t put forward a single fucking idea. You’re the kind of twat who expects others to do it all for him and then reap the benefits at the end.

Hold on a sec, weren’t you the one who kept saying years ago that you didn’t give a shit about the Champions League as it was so corrupt and you weren’t arsed one bit about it? I bet you still fucking celebrated when we finally won it though.

I certainly did and celebrated hard with my two sons in Turkey.
If you don't think there is corruption in football then it isn't me who is the, to quote 'fucking idiot' here. It isn't a selfish attitude at all. I just refuse to stand with people who will subsequently stab you in the back.
Bottom line is this. Life in general is fucking expensive. I sympathise for people, families who cant afford football anymore. I can't afford certain things in life. Group demonstations are all very well but I wont be taking part. If I cant afford it I wont go.
Nothing to do with club rivalries this. It is like someone calling your family and then being asked to go for a pint with them.
They are all 2 faced c...s.
We have a city matters rep dont we? Male representation to the club (as I am sure they have).
The other games wont be as expensive.

You’re way off beam with that. If you think all the issues we’re seeing now - Inter ticket prices/disabled parking prices at City, Villa’s CL ticket prices, and concession pricing issues at West Ham and Spurs to name but a few - are primarily down to a price cap that’s been in psce for eight seasons (now entering its ninth), and costs the clubs a minimal amount of money then that’s a huge stretch.

What we’re currently seeing is what we’ve been seeing across multiple industries since Covid, and that’s businesses trying to push the envelope as far as they possibly can, be it football tickets, gig tickets, train tickets, or beer prices and is fuck-all to do with the PL away ticket price cap that was introduced at the start of the 2016/17 season. There was perhaps a minimal impact back then because of that but people and clubs can’t go using that excuse now.

I’ll also add that there were ticket pricing issues before the £30 price cap came in. City fans protested against the PSG home ticket prices for our CL QF in the 2015/16 season. Incidentally, that action against HOME ticket prices drew scathing criticism from a minority of posters on here at the time, yet the same cunts weren’t complaining when it led to lower prices for the semi-final home leg against Real Madrid the next round.

Where did I say there wasn’t corruption in football? Stop deflecting. The fact is that you said on here some years ago that you didn’t give a shit about the Champions League and wasn’t going to attend any of the matches. I even challenged you on that at the time and asked you what if we get to the final. You were adamant that you wouldn’t go, yet here you are having the bare-faced cheek to admit that you were in Istanbul to see us win it.

Just shows that you were a lying **** all along on that doesn’t it? ;)

Joined the Cup Scheme expecting similar prices to last season. Nope. Annoyingly, Watford and Inter come out close together. I'm far from flush. Spoken to many in a similar situation. Expect sterile atmospheres and tourism to boom.

If my payment bounces once, I expect to be removed from cup schemes. Not clear on the policies and quite frankly, City, like many football clubs and many entertainers have taken the biscuit.

We have become what we laughed and teased U****d about. That's the gist of it.

City booted me out of mine, claimed I opted out which I certainly didn’t. Their solution was to buy matches individually - I’m sure they’d love that. I’ll be passing up on the home domestic cup games and initial stages of the CL - fuck ‘em, I’ll save a few quid. One more quiet head and a camera in 109 for the European games this season.

It’s not just city, it’s happening in the lower leagues as well. Home ticket prices are becoming completely unaffordable for most people now.
