Dear Atheists..

Is this thread worth reading through?
Do you believe your view of “God or no God?” is going to be changed by the same old arguments on both sides?

1) Yes
2) Maybe
3) No

If you answered (3) above, then move along with your life knowing you didn’t waste any time on (basically) one man’s continuous word salads of “belief.”

If you answered (1) or (2) above, get a grip of yourself, man!

:-)

To be totally sure that there isn’t a god is as arrogant an opinion as being totally sure that there is.

It’s a futile debate as neither opinion can be dispelled with total certainty.

I’m very much in the don’t care either way camp as it will never fill my time thinking about it.

We’ll find out one way or other after we die. Or maybe we won’t.

You'd care a lot more if you thought you might enter the fiery pits where all manner of torture takes place.

Anyway, debate over? No fucker knows if there's god or not. I hope there is and so does everyone else who has his head screwed on

Maybe I would, but I don’t.

The debate isn’t over for those who wish to fill their time going back and forwards perpetually.

Whether there is a god or not is irrelevant. To me.

Outside of the archaic House of Lords Lords Temporal, what privileges? Do Anglicans get served first in the NHS?

I'd also like to point out that a key tenet of secularism is to not seek to challenge others religious beliefs. Secularism isn't atheism.

never said it was
why are you singling out Anglicans, i said religious belief

you really need to stop putting words in my mouth

jess phillips(no idea of her denomination), i'll just leave that name out there

i'd suggest you do some mining and read their campaigns to understand some of the privileges afforded to religious belief

There is a story in a big book, called the bauble or something, about Horos, sorry Krishna, I mean Oddyseus, or is it Romulus, or Dionysus, or possibly Heracles, or Hermes, maybe Serapis, or Zeus, or could it be Adonis, or Asclepius, sorry Glycon, or Zoroaster, or was it Attis, or Mythra, I mean Buddha, or Tammuz, or was it Yeshua, oh yeah that’s him Yeshua of Nazareth who nobody at the time of his supposed existence ever recorded a single thing about, despite all the amazing stuff Horos, Krishna, Oddyseus, Romulus, Dionysus, Heracles, Hermes, Serapis, Zeus, Adonis, Asclepius, Glycon, Zoroaster, Attis, Mythra, Buddha, Tammuz, sorry I mean Yeshua was supposed to have done, apart from a few supposed mates who just happened to have told identical plagiarised copies of Yeshua’s supposed life from older stories of Horos, Krishna, Oddyseus, Romulus, Dionysus, Heracles, Hermes, Serapis, Zeus, Adonis, Asclepius, Glycon, Zoroaster, Attis, Mythra, Buddha, Tammuz from other older mythologies, after he’d supposedly died of course.

But it’s hardly reliable.
Ye gods!

Because its the official state religion of the UK? Did you mean some non-Anglicans have privileges? Who?
