City’s New Kits

I like it.

Sometimes we all take ourselves a bit too seriously

Appreciate it’s a money making scheme also but I can happily enjoy watching my team wear this kit without feeling the need to fork out whatever they’re charging for it
I like it, too. What I would query, though, is that there is an 'authentic' kit at, what £120/130. Are all the other highly priced fakes? Is it another shirt made from 26 recycled plastic bottles?

Seems like we are
The Definitely City kit will debut on pitch on 18 September at the Etihad Stadium when City take on Inter Milan and will be worn in select European away fixtures for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

Strange one that wearing it in such an important game. When's the last time we wore an away shirt at home?
The infamous James up front Boro game I reckon

Not bought a city shirt for 25 years I've bought this one and it probably be my last Man City shirt I'll buy! 125 quid though glad I've been saving up for it last 25 years [emoji38]

Only if they've got fuck all taste and standards. Don't think that it even fits the 'wacky' bill enough for kids tbh.

Agree. It's just rank. I think most kids will prefer the 99 away kit. Can't see many people buying this one over the other three kits tbh

I remember us wearing the purple away kit at home in the 90's don't ask which match it was though ha!

Middlesbrough at home when that clown Pearce put David James upfront?

The Definitely Maybe kit is not great (it’s the badge that could be better for me), although it might look alright when being worn and I do like this picture with Pep and a few players:

And at least it’s got more to do with the city of Manchester and City than the Chinese Moon landing* kit or Chinese New Year kits we’ve had. What they have to do with our football club, I’ll never know.

*on the back of the tracksuit of that Chinese Moon landing kit, it had the Moon latitude/longitude coordinates of where the Chinese space crew landed on the moon, with a rabbit for the year of the rabbit for their New Year.

What is ‘Manchester’ or ‘City’ about any of that?

That guff on the back actually ruined what would have been a really nice tracksuit:

Is it an 'away' kit though? It is more of a 'special edition' kit.

Doesn't really change your question though, strange to wear it in an inportant match.

Edit, Inter themselves worte their 20/21 fourth kit abstract design at home a couple times, and Barcelina had a few quirky ones they wore at home too.

Another pile of shite but nevertheless the main target under 10s will love it
I don’t think any Under 10s will have a clue what Definitely Maybe is.

This is surely aimed more at 40-60 year olds who liked Oasis in 1994 and 20-40 year olds who like Liam and Noel’s solo stuff.

Last day of the season in 2004-05.

That navy kit that you could buy sleeveless.

It’s getting triggered reactions from the red shirts on socials. 115th kit this, it’ll pay for court costs that. Has them crying rivers all over again, so at least there’s that.
