It’s the old Boy who cried Wolf syndrome. Means those posters lose all credibility and their words just become noise as nobody is bothered by their faux indignation.

Labour are doing a lot but it takes time , sadly a two year old drowned yesterday . People always say it is only young men who come on boats , lots of families do , how desperate do you have to be ffs , labour have put in more assessors to process them quicker and hopefully stream line the system, it is like rearanging sand right now

Trampled rather than drowned. Until the process completes within weeks rather than years with limited grounds for appeal the free for all will continue as is the case with Albanians now turned round quickly so numbers drop.

Labour are doing sod all, same as the Tories did sod all. Stop the boats, smash the gangs, send them here there and everywhere. It’s a complete phantasy (and yes I’ve used the correct spelling of it).

Legal and safe routes (ability to process abroad), working with the EU and taking our fair share. Anyone arriving by any other means is fucked off to from whence they came.

I’ve no idea why politicians get dragged in to the orbits they do on this topic - like 40000 odd people arriving matters at all in the grand scheme of things.

Whatever, the kid is still dead . There has to be a fair appeal system still but i think we can all agree that the processing has to improve and quickly

Yes there needs to be an appeals system with very limited grounds.

They have put more staff into processing , making an agreement with other countries , set up the border force . Like i said it will take time , pity the tories let it get this bad , it will take time to see a difference

are you sure Kaz? The likes of Tice and Grimes tell us they are all fighting age ...... are two year olds now of fighting age? Is that the Reform Ltd policy to fill gaps in recruitment?

Several kids have died over the years , remember the man carrying the dead body of a baby up the beach , on your watch, how desperate must you be to put your baby in a boat ffs . Where is the empathy in the tory party and people like you , you have no idea what they are trying to escape

What are they trying to escape? France?

It’s obviously horrendous when children die like this, and that’s why I question the character of the people involved.

It will never get any better until we allow people to claim asylum here at our embassies/ consulates. Processing people more quickly doesn’t stop them dying in the sea.
 
Putting our respective political viewpoints to one side (if that’s possible), I think it’s fair to say, this new Labour government have had the worst start to their tenure of any government in living memory.

The F1/Ecclestone debacle in the first few months of Blairs tenure was a bit of a shit show.
To be fair though, that Government probably went on to do more good than many others of the last 5 decades
