The economy not top is the interesting thing as Trump has banged on about it all campaign.
Difficult to read much into "state of democracy" - both sides can probably argue that for their side.
Abortion over Immigration makes sense to me - important everywhere.

Another thought - foreign policy's score suggests either no-one cares about the Middle East or it was just a sample that didn't care much (they may all have voted early).

Does it mean that Israel didn't make much of an impression?

(this by the way is the same CNN poll mentioned earlier)

A bit. I woukd have thought Harris voters might rationalise their feelings on the economy a bit.

You're making an assumption that it's referring to the economy though.

People can be angry with the state of the country simply because SCOTUS are ripping away legal rights and protections.

It's really hard to read much into these exit polls.

You know you can laugh and belittle all you want but this is in the top 2 issues of most voters. What has been allowed to happen at the unprotected borders and illegal immigration in general has been disgraceful.

New York City alone has spend about $150 BILLION in about a year but it’s proud to be known stupidity as a”sanctuary city”. Put this in the be careful what you wish for file.
Maybe the GoP shouldn’t have killed their own border security bill then.

It is - the fact that 70+ million who voted early could distort the exit poll.

No, met my wife later in life. We letter separate households as I could travel and spend time in both countries-Thailand. Adopted them after 18 and it takes longer. Doesn’t make sense but there you go. Wife just got here full time about 4 years ago. Bottom line is our family is separated, which ironically was a huge talking point for the Democrats. I guess if it hurts a native born American, then tough. They ain’t the least bit interested..
So your adopted children are over 18?

And you think that’s akin to putting a six year old in a cage and splitting them up from their parents in New Mexico?

Your total lack of empathy is disgusting and should remind you of someone you hate. Bang out of order.

I might be wrong but I think they poll early voters and mail-in voters as well in the weeks running up to the election. Then they combine it with the vote on the day to create the full exit poll.

That said, I do think there is some distortion in trying to exit poll mail-in voters because that has to be done using different methods.
