Can someone who was born in the UK in the late 80s to American parents move there? Asking for a friend (I'm the friend)

Got a bad feeling about this.
I spoke to a friend in Canada about 3 weeks ago and he's a decent, reasonably intelligent bloke, and we touched on politics and he said that he thought Kamala and Trump were "Equally Bad" and that was when I put £10000 on Trump to win at evens.

I find it completely mind blowing that any American person of colour would vote for Trump. Unless you're orange.
I find it crazy how much of American politics is driven so hard by ethnicity. It sometimes feels like they are so far behind.

Trump doing a couple of points better with black voters than in 2020. In Georgia that is. Turnout important as well haven’t heard data about that yet BUT if turnout drops by 1% in Georgia, that eliminates the 11,700 votes Biden won by in 2020.

Seventy percent of North Carolina voters are dissatisfied. Almost half voted on economy and immigration and half on democracy and abortion so important issues rather split.
