Just spoke to Colin. Meeting him on Joe Mercer Way in a bit

He's got plenty of footage.

Met Colin on Joe Mercer Way and had a long chat with him. :-)
I took Colin on a tour of the construction site, left to right.
It was the first time he'd been close to the construction site.

Shame to miss the actual lift but plenty of footage of them struggling to get it to line up, but crowbars and good old fashioned kicking it got it done!

Did John mention all the benefits of shifting the away fans down to ESL1/SSL1 and creating an all City end in SSL3/2 & most of 1.

He knows it can be achieved for 25/26 season and BEFORE the 93.20 is opened !!

Hits home from this elevation just how much they've thought about the sightlines. It's got a Wembley Way feel about it.

No it wasn't, but on the ground I just assumed they'd get it on before it goes up.

I assume they have forgotten about it with everything going on. Hopefully someone will trip over it at some point and that will jog their memory.

They'll have to add it in from a cherry picker with nothing below, which is doable but when gone to the effort of a pre assembled truss on the ground is a bit odd. Unless there is another reason for it not being there.
