We all make mistakes. Let's not attack each other so muchIf you were, you wouldn't have said what you said about weaponization of the DOJ (nor called it the GOP instead of the DOJ).
But you're right -- what I want you to be is a poster who doesn't make factual mistakes.
Straight from the Kelly-Anne playbook. You do know “alternative facts” are a made up thing, right?! It was do they didn’t have to say “bold-faced lies” to the world’s media!
Doesn't explain the pardon for crimes committed from up to 2 years before his tax issues and 4 years before his gun issue.
Like Ive said, I'm not surprised. But let's not pretend to not understand what's happening.
There is one aspect of American exceptionalism about which no one in this country should be proud: The United States is the only country in the world that regularly sells the title “ambassador.” What may be even worse is that efforts to limit the practice may become yet another victim of the hyper-partisan politics of Washington.

This uniquely American tradition is so deeply rooted that it has become a quadrennial punch line. At the start of every presidential term, journalists ask about the latest crop of “pay-to-play” ambassadors. The White House press spokesperson often responds by making a joke about it. For example, in 2009, the reason that spokesman Robert Gibbs gave for former President Obama’s choice of Louis Susman as ambassador to London was that he was fluent in the local language.
It even expanded under the Trump administration because there were new ways to give besides campaign contributions. One could make a deposit directly into the president’s pocket by paying dues as members of former President Trump’s golf clubs — eight people evidently secured ambassadorships this way. Writing a check for $1 million for the inauguration apparently helped to get Woody Johnson to the Court of St. James and Gordon Sondland, a nice place to stay in Brussels when he wasn’t in Ukraine.
Obama picks financial backer for UK ambassador post
Chicago friend Louis Susman chosen for plum posting despite president's promise to end cronyism in Washington
London is not the only posting being used to reward political supporters. Other positions in Europe are expected to be filled on the basis of patronage. Dan Rooney, owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, who campaigned for Obama, is to be the ambassador to Dublin.
Obama's predecessor, George W Bush, sent two of his financier backers to the UK: William Farish, a Texas multimillionaire, and Robert Tuttle, a California car dealer.

President Obama announced another 10 names for ambassadorships last week, and in doing so, he awarded another set of big donors and bundlers with plum positions representing U.S. interests abroad. The new nominees for ambassadors to Belize, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Romania and Switzerland–along with their spouses and dependent children–have contributed at least $637,800 to federal candidates, parties and committees since 1989, CRP has found. Nearly that entire sum has gone to Democrats, including $32,775 to Obama himself and $8,300 to former primary opponent and now-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. These individuals also brought in at least $1.1 million for Obama’s presidential bid as bundlers, and at least another half-a-million as bundlers for his inauguration.

I don't believe I ever commented about whether he would or wouldn't pardon Hunter -- and I certainly never thought it was a good or right thing to do.
Not mad at you. You’ve finally stumbled into the truth with the above (bolded) statement, even though the first was a swing and a miss!
If you can’t work it out from there, I can’t help you any further, because I’m tired of repeating myself.
Fair enoughI don't believe I ever commented about whether he would or wouldn't pardon Hunter -- and I certainly never thought it was a good or right thing to do.
Not mad at you, either. :-)Not mad at you.
You think people are really upset at the pardon? A pardon whose scope is the stuff of Nixon. A pardon that screams it's an admission of guilt about the Ukraine etc. WE'RE LAUGHING.For all those bemoaning the pardoning of Hunter Biden after he committed the heinous crimes of incorrectly filling out a gun licence application, and failure to pay taxes (which were paid back in full, with interest and fines) at the height of his addiction to drugs, crimes which are rarely prosecuted, and considering the incoming Trump administration had him in their sights for further prosecutions, at least Joe Biden didn't offer him the position of Ambassador to France.
Here are the crimes of Trump's pick for Ambassador to France:
The Republican pearl clutching is utterly pathetic.
Bromance !!!!!!!Not mad at you, either. :-)

R's have ZERO moral high ground on pardon's. I know you are desperate for them to go after the Biden's (and probably the Clinton's, and anyone else who called your side 'deplorables'), but if there had been a shred of evidence that Biden had done anything close to illegal, and then tried to cover it up, your lot would have set Gym Jordan loose and rolled out an impeachment in a heartbeat. You think people are really upset at the pardon? Oooops. No more 5th Amendment protection for Hunter.
We're laughing at the people who believed Joe Biden when he said he wouldn't do what he has done because, you know, principles.
He flat out lied to your face for over year and all you can do is deflections about Trump.
The Democrat deflections are utterly pathetic. Fucking own it.
lol "Your lot". I'm a Massachusetts Independent that has never voted for Trump. You're all such binary thinkers when it comes to this stuff, which is ironic when you think about it.R's have ZERO moral high ground on pardon's. Republicans had 4 whole years to some up with something, and when they couldn't find anything, they spitefully went after Hunter Biden for crimes rarely prosecuted at any level. Definitely shades of Joe McCarthy's persecution and attempted blackmail of Senator Lester Hunt for his son's minor digressions. Hunt went on to commit suicide as a result. (https://www.boisestate.edu/bluereview/shocking-death-senator-lester-hunt/).
If you think the Republican 'Justice' Department are going to be spending the next 4 years doing the work of the people of America, you're pissing in the wind. They'll be in full retribution mode, going through Trump's enemies list.
What’s your views on the fact he can?I don't believe I ever commented about whether he would or wouldn't pardon Hunter -- and I certainly never thought it was a good or right thing to do.
