Nigel Farage

he is clearly testing out an RFK angle/grift. On who's behalf/ payroll we cannot say but he would not be stupid enough to drink unpasteurised milk
I have to say unpasteurised milk from a regulated and tested herd is delicious.

I'd certainly encourage Farage to drink it from an unregulated and untested herd.

He's on again?
It's in Northern Ireland, a region of the country that voted to remain in the EU, and still is.

He'll be getting tetchy, as usual, when his bullshit fails to impress, and it would be funny as fuck if he walked off set to grab some nosh rather than have to answer some 'typically biased BBC questions'.

Will he be angry? Probably.

Will he answer a question? Probably not.

Will he give us any well rounded and thoughtful solutions regarding the issues that make him so angry? Definately not.

He never has, and never will.

He's not really angry though I think, it's all performative for the people he thinks will either lead him to power or at least provide him with some dosh.

He's got no problem with Germans, bovine or otherwise, his last wife was German and seemingly he's been shagging a French politician for a while. Nigel jets about and is pretty cosmopolitan and not really angry about anything though I suspect he finds the people of Clacton a bit wearisome; in fact I'm reasonably sure he's pretty chuffed with himself. He just wants the rest of us to be angry and at each others throats because that's his route to power and loot.
Nailed it there

I went to agricultural college in the 70's and worked for a while in the dairy industry. There are definate risks involved with drinking unpasteurised milk.

The primary one is the milk isn't tested for antibiotic content, but also bacterial content as well.

There is nothing wrong with pasteurised milk. It is heated up to 72.5 degrees centigrade for 15 seconds to kill harmful bacteria. The process was invented by Louis Pasteur to prevent the spread of brucellosis which was a common ailment from drinking milk at the time, but it also eliminated other bactreria that could be present.

UHT milk doesn't have any real benefit over normal pasteurised milk, but as it is heated up to a higher temperature, 84 degrees centigrade for 15 seconds, it starts to caramalise the lactose content in the milk which is why it has a slighlty burnt flavour to it.

When milk arrives at the dairy, it isn't just tested for antibiotic and bacterial content, but it also passes through a high speed centrifuge to spin out all the non milk solids that are present. It's cow shit, blood cells, skin cells, hairs, you name it, but take it from me it smells bloody awful when you have to take the centrifuge apart and scrape the plates clean, and there is a lot of it to remove.

Sending milk that hasn't been processed to remove all that crap down my throat isn't going to happen.

Milking this topic a bit now but I nearly went down the route of imbibing unpasteurised milk.
Unlikely I ever will after your post confirmed some of my suspicions.

I do tend to buy in unhomogenised though. Some people hate that but I love that fat ol cream at the top.

Homogonised milk isn't the tops, I'll grant you that.

Blue tits used to love it though.

Like MAGA they are becoming a dab hand at using it to target to 'Loser living in his basement' demographic and making them angry enough to join the cyber army of brainwashed people.

4 years building that could have a dramatic effect on the nation politically.

It needs addressing fast as I think labour believe doing nothing will guarantee them a second term.
I think politicians need to tread carefully here. The Elon Musk's of this world are replacing traditional media and it's a perfect buy-in because young people do not participate in traditional media and never will. Whether this will actually come to matter or not is another thing.

The most critical thing is the polarisation of the right and I'd expect the right to converge over the coming years because the Tories cannot win an election by opposing Farage. If the two were to join up then Labour are out.

Labour did not really 'win' the last election because they got 500k less votes than Corbyn got in 2019, 2m less than Corbyn in 2017. They only won because the Tory vote split in half. Boris got 14m votes in 2019, Sunak got 6.8m in 2024 and 4.1m went to Reform, it's an incredible split really.

more of the world needs to do what Romania are doing and where external interference is found launch a re-run of elections to counter the fiddling

Having watched QT and his performance through the whole programme it is clear he just feeds bile and rhetoric with little or no concern for the fallout. How anyone can actually think of voting for him is totally beyond me.

He has no plans and no policies he deals in silly stupid remarks that appeal to people who are stupid, or silly, or stupid AND silly, or who are just too bone idle to think about what he is saying.

To some "just send them back" sounds attractive - he is never pressed on how he would do that - he once said he would send a detachment of Marines over with small boat loads of people to land in France and usher them ashore. The gammon lick that up like its the finest gravy whereas anyone who resides in the real world can see all the issues with that stupid rhetoric

People live on social media, attention span is going down and down and they lap up headlines and disinformation.
Elon Musk got Trump into power and he will do the same with Farage over here. i hope i'm wrong of course.

You 're so right. I now have a personal policy of checking who and the background of people that appear on politics shows. I don't think I have ever clicked on a social media political news article.

Purely populist shite, Spouts all the gammon talking points without any plans. Say everything is shit and will be even more shit under the 'conventional' system without providing answers. Oh and completely ignore the absolute shitshow you were a major cause of.
