Idk if Bruno G can play the 6 here. Performance today against Brentford was particularly poor.

Zubimemdi for me is the guy we need to get.
 
How many players can we actually sign in January and stay within the squad size limits?


With zubimendi, lots of people are writing as if we can just go and get him. He already turned down liverpool and may turn us down to stay where he is. Also, liverpool are very likely to be in for him again if he is now open to a move and would he pick us over them? I doubt it because he's got a much better chance if winning a trophy with them this season and better chance of playing regularly next season.

Only those two out of contract. Going to be two summers of significant churn.

We’d be better signing Salah, he’s exactly what we need; great finisher, pacy, never injured! And he already lives in Prestbury so wouldn’t need to move house.

Just offer him what Kev earns plus a fat signing on fee. Would piss off the scouse cunts too, we owe those bastards for the bus wrecking, database hacking and just for being absolute wankers.

He isnt leaving but if he does its for about 10m a week in Saudi.
 
We've signed Kalvin Phillips, and have signed Wilfred Bony midseason so we can't rule out anything.
 
Newcastle desperately need a CH and last summer Guehi was their No1 choice but the bad news is that he'll cost £80M that they don't currently have. They do however have better cover in CM

Agreed, I don’t know why, but I just find it incredibly boring to sign or even be linked with English PL players. Don’t believe for a second we’d ever be interested in Phillips, Branthwaite or Wharton if they weren’t English. I think Branthwaite and Wharton would be very expensive sideways steps. Could easily need 4+ players over the next two transfer windows, I hope Viana has some different ideas to signings. Lots of quality in the other top European leagues
