bought this lot...


10dirhams (80 chuffing pence)
grown just outside town.
picked by the farmer.
sold by his son.
virtually no footprint.

(the wine obviously wasn't included,
merely there to show scale)

also splashed out on a dozen avacados,
genuinely ripe and ready
a quid.

3 bunches of leaves at 30p a go.
coriander, parsley and mint.

6 bananas that actually taste of banana 50p.

I also have a reasonable sized garden and old dears keep coming in to eat the apples I left for the birds off my trees. No heron or frogs, just thought I’d let you know.

Was shopping earlier on today in Porthmadog when I saw a untied fan with a sponsored jacket, badge etc etc pushing a trolley round Lidl with his wife and 2 boys.....a dastardly plan was hatched.....
" Where are the durexes I asked my wife ??"
"What on earth do you want durexes for "
" I'm going to drop them in that blokes trolley when they're not looking and wait for for hell to erupt at the check out..."

I never did get round to doing it based on the fact Lidl dont sell durexes.

Just found a ref. Exchange platform 3 joined Vic 11 in Europes longest platform, over 2200 feet.

Just had a look Colchester is still the current longest but is in 2 parts...I'm not sure that it should really count in that case, Gloucester has the longest continuous one.

FFS it's sad on here. :)
