2 good CBs
Rodri Foden in the middle
A front 3 that may not be good enough. And a utility player.
So at the very least we need a RB, LB, AM, 2 goalkeepers, CM back up, support striker, another wide player.

At the start of 2026/7 I imagine that that the following will all have left the club.
Ederson, Ortega, Carson, Walker, Stones, Akanji, Ake, de Bruyne, Gundoghan, Bernardo, Kovacic, Grealish, Nuñes, McAtee and Phillips.

The only current players who make the cut are
Lewis, Foden, Gvardiol, Rodri, Savinho, Doku and Haaland.

Frankly it's frightening on two fronts. Firstly how the hell do we bed in over 10 players in the next year and a half. And secondly all these players know they're on borrowed time which will affect their performance.

No guarantee Haaland will be here if we don’t guarantee him a top class creator.

In terms of the rest of the squad I agree it's horrendous, but in terms of replacing KDB we were always going to have this problem. If the club don’t get Wirtz or Musiala we’re going to have to look at inferior players. Whether they inspire Haaland I don’t know, we can see how little he’s getting and that’s with KDB there, albeit an aging one.

I guarantee we'd be scoring more goals with either of those players in the team.

Cunha carries the ball really well and reminds me of Grealish... But he's a threat in front of goal. Nine goals in 17 matches for a fairly poor Wolves side.

Kudus another goal threat and probably more suited to Liverpool's style. But I like him.

Both would add physicality but have a lot more to their game than that.

Yeah decent players for their clubs but there not going to help us compete with Real Madrid. Is that list including KDB leaving?
