They paid 35 mil quid for Mac Allister. A brilliant deal for them.Liverpool got Macalister cheap, at £55m, people were right to claim they got a good deal out of Brighton.
Who made up the difference on Caicedo at £110m. Swings and roundabouts.
Have a feeling that the Caicedo deal isn't done yet. Chelsea preparing another bid - but apparently Brighton had a deadline last night ?Easy to see why City felt Kovacic for £25m was too cheap to pass on, with Rice and Caicedo going for £105m and £110m
Remember Atletico been apoplectic when we signed RodriRodri might just be Txiki's greatest signing oat. I remember bozos trolling on twitter saying - "no way Pep went to Atleti and picked Rodri over Partey" and other condescending posts essentially accusing Pep of being a racist.
What I couldn't understand why were they pissed that we bought a player haha. 4 years on, Rodri has given us 2 very very important moments in our history. ( 2nd goal vs Villa last season - he made it look easy but that goal was sumptuous, and ofc the UCL final banger )

I'm sure Tony Bloom would overlook any missed deadlines if Chelsea come back with even more money.Have a feeling that the Caicedo deal isn't done yet. Chelsea preparing another bid - but apparently Brighton had a deadline last night ?
Think the Paqueta deal is too far down the road for us to walk away. It might take until the end of the transfer window thoughtotally agree with you that we need 1-2 more, but the market perhaps doesnt have anyone for us, and City wont pay anything for Paqueta.
