Sort of stuff negotiations fall apart on. Don’t think potential suitors are dead here yet.
Difficult to know what to believe, but let's say everything he says is true. The 'key points of disagreement' seem to be pretty much everything. Salary, length of deal and release clauses are the central tenets of any contract. Basically nothing important has been agreed at this point. This makes it hard to believe the second point - that he really wants to extend. Bayern might well expect 'concessions' but if a better deal lies elsewhere then why would the player offer any sort of compromise?

I think it’s possible he’s already agreed to join us and we’re happy to pay an exorbitant sum that even Bayern cannot turn down. My rational is firstly he should have signed by now if he was staying, secondly he gets coached by Pep for 2 years and this could be any players last chance of this and finally he gets to be in the premier league (he spent much of his youth in England)

Hell, players like Musiala would only ever play for the best teams in the world and as it stand, we are very far away from that level. For me, that ship has sailed. Difference then we were very much a team on the up. From the outside looking in we look very much a team on a slippery slope going down now.Tevez, Silva, Yaya....
Then we were a team that spent copious amounts on transfers, discarding those that didn’t work out. Now due to regulations we are pegged back from doing this.
