I know transfer fees are amortised against the players contract length but do they really only pay the amortised amount every year? How does that work, is interest not added?

Being able to owe 300M+ to other clubs feels shifty AF to me
Might be wrong
Amortised amounts are for the book only and count towards PSR and will be part of the squad costs rules
The money owed is how each transfer fee is negotiated with the selling club I don’t think interest is applied to the fee

Not to bring the serious stuff over here, but I think there were a few alarm bells last season (form during Rodri's redcard, Villa away, FA cup final).
Losing the lead three times at Chelsea to draw, losing the lead twice v Spuds to draw, losing a 2-0 lead v Palace with 15 minutes remaining to draw. Those sorts of alarm bells. - All swept under the carpet by 4 in a row. But there are many people at the club that should have heard those alarm bells and reacted, rather than ignore them.

I don't think Poundland gets the appreciation he deserves on here, to be honest. He's left them with a woeful squad. Even a hybrid of peak Pep and Bingo couldn't get a tune out of that lot. Just a shame our "save our Poundland" campaign was met with a lukewarm response by so many on here. Splitters. Luckily, they seem to have found another "couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery" merchant. Eventually, though, they're going to fluke a decent appointment.

Actually can't believe they are more shite than us this year as well.

Wish we saw a way out of these shite results so I could enjoy it more

Exactly what I was thinking. I can’t really revel in their ineptitude while we’re so shit.

Having those vile scouse turds win the league is barely any better than rags winning either. What a fucking shit season.
