Havertz was poor yesterday but the threats and abuse he's getting on social media from so-called Arsenal fans is appalling. Even had a death threat against his unborn child. What kind of moron steeps to such lows?
You answered your own question. Having been to Highbury and The Emirates many times I can assure you that is what your lot have turned into.

What is strange is that it was Arteta coaching Sterling that made him a far post tap in beast in the centurions season.

Wonder why Arteta can get that out of him now for Arsenal. Is it simply Sterling’s desire isn’t what it was?
Arteta doesn't have David Silva making the 3rd man run to the byline

Handing Raheem a bib out in training is not coaching.

Surely they can afford to splash out for a striker though.
Not that I want them too.
We have a fair bit of cash by all accounts that we can spend. Our net transfer spend in the summer was as follows;

IN:

Riccardo Calafiori - £42m
Mikel Merino - £32m
David Raya (loan to buy fee) -£30m
Tommy Setford - £1m

Total spend £105m

OUT:

Emile Smith-Rowe - £34m
Eddie Nketieh - £30m
Aaron Ramsdale - £25m

Total income £89m

Net Transfer spend £16m

Smith Rowe and Nketieh are players who came through the academy which helps FFP as well.

There's interest in Nico Williams from Bilbao although apparently Arsenal dont want to pay his £55m release clause and his £275k a week wage demands. However we did think it made sense to pay £65m for Kai Havertz and pay him £280k a week.

It must be pissing the cartel clubs off no end that the rules they designed to castrate new money clubs are now kicking them in the bollocks instead.

It's fairly obvious Arsenal doesn't want to spend and that Artete is now their front man like Wenger was in his last 5 years there.

I'm not sure FFP is having a negative impact on Arsenal - we just have a policy of trying to find value in the transfer market - basically we're a bit tight. The odd crap signing like Nicolas Pepe excepted. If anything FFP has helped us else the likes of Newcastle, Chelsea, City etc could price us out of the market massively.

A few of our signings/academy players would sell for massive fees - you'd have to think the likes of Saka and Saliba would be up and around the £100m+ price range, Odegaard maybe a bit less and if we had to cut our losses on Declan Rice I'm sure there would be takers at around £90m+. In a couple of years any transfer fee for Ethan Nwaneri could be astronomical, depending on if he realises his full potential. We'd also make a healthy profit on Jurrien Timber, Gabriel and David Raya. Kai Havertz less so. So on that basis we are pretty sound. Also getting £34m and £30m for Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketieh respectively was great business.

United in the other hand have seen FFP rules bend them over a table and go in dry and that's because they spent so much money on garbage that they can't recoup in transfer sales. Such a pity.

And where exactly are all these clubs that would be willing to spend £90m+ on Plodder and £100m on the others you mention?
