I think pep gave him a month off when he got sent off , i might have dreamed that ? Truth is he has worked like a dog for years , given everything to the cause , needs special treatment when he comes back, i hope he comes back as good as he was before

I’d love to see him back earlier than expected ,but I don’t want him anywhere near that Pitch till he’s 100%.
theres a big difference between being recovered from the injury to how a civilian might consider it healed and at the level where it can withstand a top level football game, not to mention where a player can recover aerobic fitness. Rodders will be doing a lot of swimming and rowing but it wont be the same as slogging around a pitch

Given the a sense of anything like a midfield since Rodri has been injured - would recalling Kalvin Philips but the end of the world.

If there’s no talk of any holding midfielders on the horizon, how long do we think it might be before Rodri actually steps back on a pitch? His injury was 5 months ago, now we’ve hit mid January the end of the season will come sooner than we think, could we see him late April/May which is why they don’t want to spend big on a short term solution?

Stop it, there will be a few set backs along the way.

If he is fit to start next season, brilliant, if he is back up to speed by next Christmas it will be wonderful.

It could be bullshit as it was from Facebook.

The comment above the picture.

We can’t just have one holding midfielder as we will be in the sane boat next season .

I know we can’t keep making excuses but he is 95% of our problems. We miss him more than anything else, he is the best player on the planet when fit by a stone mile and we need to take our time getting him back. Once he is back and fully fit we’ll be fully back to our best no doubt.
